Am I the only one that liked the thread bump to the top when a reply was added?  It was easier to scroll down to look for adds or new threads than try to find the interesting threads. Just my .02

Ads kept getting bumped every time someone said "nice ass". Old threads were resurrected and new threads bumped out of the way. It was a nightmare.

The thread bumping seems to work better on smaller boards with a lot less traffic.

Was when I recently saw a guy (a friend of mine) post on another board on the second thread down. This guy had passed away four months ago.  I was instantly not a fan of thread bumping.

seeing several many-days-old threads on top made it really hard to find whatever was new; you had to be  able to remember if you'd seen a thread before so you could skip it.  So it became a real pain to find what we were looking for.  Plus I don't necessarily agree that a recent post meant an old thread was 'interesting."
