I see your thoughts on that, and I think you're right.  It's redundant!

Was just curious about people's thoughts on contacting providers through various screening services, and having them still require full name, etc, before booking an appointment.

I'm not knocking anyone, really, for their requirements. And I'm not saying the screening services are at fault. They're providing the exact service that they advertise. I've been doing this a while and realize everyone has their comfort zone.

It's just a little frustrating to spend the time trying to set up an appointment through these services only to be thwarted with these extra requests. I have about 20 referrals on a popular service, and the entire reason I signed up was so that I wouldn't have to share personal information. You'd think that most providers advertising through these services would realize that.

At a minimum, it would be nice, I think, if the sites added an extra field like "more information required", or similar, so that you could quickly filter out those providers who have requirements that exceed simply providing your screening ID.

We all know that 80% of the risk is theirs, but if they tell you they accept these services and then don't also tell you they need more, it's wrong.

Conversely, if they didn't require name and ID, 5 or 6 guys could use the same service and TER accounts and nobody would ever know
