It happened about one and half hours ago.    Hope all our ladies and gentlemen are safe and were not in line of fire.   My deepest sympathies and prayers to those who died and their loved ones and families.

I've flown in and out of Fort Lauderdale several times in my life. At least 5 dead, 8 injured. It *appears* that the shooter is in the military and had his weapon in his checked luggage.

So sad I have been delayed at that airport a million times ....

Was dishonorably discharged. And his weapon was legally checked.

This is too common for pathetic killers like this man to say they were hearing voices.     For a change why not  those voices say "please go and feed a few homeless people",   "please go and hug a little boy with down syndrome"  or the best "go to a children hospital and cheer up kids stricken with cancer'.
