Not at all. They were fun to look through and, I think allowed for a more relaxed atmosphere amongst the board viewers/commenters.
It seems that theme day is the most viewed thread on the board and it's nice because it was local only. Was a fun way for us girls to be creative with each other and have a little something to contribute to the board in a fun and positive way. Even as a provider I always look forward to seeing what the other ladies come up with for candid pics that we might not otherwise post on our websites. This change will really limit the amount of time I spend checking out what's new on TER.

TER use to be a lot of fun. I think it's lame to get rid of the local board photos.

i kind of like the fact that the new Photo Only board is national in scope, as it increases the exposure ALL the ladies get. this is particularly important to us here in Florida; being a state that draws a lot of business travelers (conferences, etc) as well as tourists and vacationers, it behooves the Florida providers to be on a larger, national radar screen. it is because of that wider exposure that i've landed appointments as a direct result of posting photos on the (national) Over-60 board. so i definitely think it's a benefit for us to get onto a bigger stage! plus, we can post daily on the Photo Only board! what's not to like?
as to participating locally on the Florida board...well, darlin, you just DID by starting this thread...and we are all free (welcomed, in fact!) to post in every single thread if we so desire. ladies are to be heard as well as seen! our increased participation in the discussion threads may just stimulate (oooooh, i said "stimulate"!) more conversation - plus, posting has the added benefit of giving the gents an idea of our lovely personalities. again, a win-win for everyone, IMHO.
me, i like to look at a half-full glass every time...and this one appears to be overflowing to me.
Thanks j.marie. I was wondering about the new photo only board. So how does it go? We can post new pictures every day? So no more show our humps Wednesdays and such? lol. I do agree with you about the florida ladies, absolutely. :
the regional board and TER reviews for that city. I am not going to look through many photos on a "photo board" just to find a needle in a haystack.
I was simply saying that I enjoyed doing theme day and I think it has a place on the local board. There is nothing wrong with the national picture page but I doubt it will have the same effect and I find it to be kind of boring. Theme day was fun. It seems like there could've been a place for both. Someone mentioned marketing and think about it, if you have a local business for let's say a restaurant, where do you do your networking and advertising? In national magazines or in the local community magazine? If you are smart you will try to get to know your local base more and concentrate on that, with only maybe 1% marketing to the nation. I'm just saying I think there was a place for both. I think there are only a small amount of clients who will fish thru hundreds of pics and then decide to travel to that city just for that one girl. I could be wrong...
PS, is advertising allowed on this board now because of this change? Two threads up there is an ad yet I was told the subject of one of my theme day pics sounded too much like an ad (I personally disagree since someone else posted almost the same exact words and neither sounded like an ad, but ce la vie).

Kinda surprised no one had already done that.

I have mixed feelings regarding this as I did enjoy checking out all the other providers photos and trying to come up with something that would separate me from the pack in a good natured way. At the same time I have always done better with business and holiday travelers as I do not have a incall so I believe posting these photos on the national board will lead to more business for me.
The photo board is a great idea makes me want to travel more
...but ok with change...
but still don't understand the new rules....
It's okay that it is all on one board. That is okay. From a marketing prospective it's better! I manage many ladies who travel throughout the US and it's better exposure! Their hot pics and calendars are given US/worldwide exposure! Hell ya! Bring it on, Baby!
But, as some local ladies expressed concern, Florida is unique in that we thrive on tourism and our season. We have a small community and enjoy that. Our thread of the day or commeradere where it all began taken away is somewhat say. But, it is what it is and we will one again reinvent out resilient selves!
Love you, TER, Hobbyists, Strong Ladies, etc.
Happy New Year, New You!
Love & Light to All
I liked having the pictures of all the Florida ladies and ladies visiting Florida together...why look at candy you can't reach? I question whether the 15 to 20 Florida ladies who regularly posted photos will be as diligent posting on the national forum. Are there going to be daily threads? That could get burdensome. I think this change makes the regional board a bit less entertaining...just my thoughts.
I do not like the new photo board. If I wanted to see pics of providers from across the country, I would have gone to their regional board. I just mainly want to see pics of local gals. I think the regional boards that had pic theme days are going to see a marked decrease in traffic on them.

the bottom line to me... was that the ladies posting on regular theme days made our regional board much more personal. Even though we may haven't met some of these ladies personally, they made a local connection to all of us. I will miss seeing our fine ladies posts.
Please bring our photo theme days back!

If ain't broke, don't fix it!
Glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. I hardly ever check the board anymore, no real reason to now because no one is really saying anything anymore. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
they read the words? nah...no one will read the board!!!
