This Thanksgiving, I did something I never did before...as the sun set over the Gulf a few miles north of Tampa, a few miles south of Clearwater Beach, I snapped some photos on my digital camera while getting my feet wet in the surf, before returning to my brother's home a block off the beach for dessert, and an evening of champagne and 420. We can't do that in the surf in NJ...water is way too cold! The night before I left, I met with Alyssa Day in NYC ...it was a great week!
As for the upcoming holidays, there will be no shortage of family, football at the Meadowlands, and hopefully meeting my ATF next week. Also, a top-rated lady from Canada is in town on X-Mas eve...if possible I will with her as I did with my friend Michelle five years ago, then exchange gifts the next day as if nothing happened...LOL!
I have been alone on holidays since the Gulf War. My birthday is a week after Thanksgiving and I have tried to hobby on my b-d for the last 5 years and failed every time. This year, even Veteran's Day punted on me.
Wish I was closer than 12 hours on the road, to be able to participate.
