I've gotten a few questions about this via PM, so I thought I'd share with everyone.

Question: what about using Flash?

Answer: avoid at all costs. Other than it being a little unstable and increased load time, it doesn't work on the iPhone and some other mobile phones. A good web designer can get the same results (photo galleries, usually) without using Flash.

Well said... Flash is the most overrated, overused web technology of our lifetimes...

Can't wait for HTML5 to get fully adopted. That will mean: Pages can still have videos, interactive menus and maybe even we games without the need for Flash.
