.... and living in Dallas.  I lost my business during the economic downturn seven years ago and found a job in Dallas.  Being away from family and friends in Florida I first went to a rub & tug.  But after Googling numbers I found the review boards and decided to make the next step to quench my thirst.

1) I had just retired from full time work and had a lot of free time. In a sexless marriage and had to be discreet.
2) & 3) The Internet discovery came first and by chance. Stumbled across Date Check. Signd up and sometime thereafter was driving a snow birds car from NY to Florida. Found a sweet lady to pass time with once in Florida  and voila.
4) Was led to TER through DC. Now TER is my go to site.

was living in Texas, had no girlfriend at the time.  Got horny one night (surprise, surprise) and found an ad for a nude modeling studio in the yellow pages.  Took a short drive and it all began.

One of the first ladies I saw when I returned to the "hobby" about nine years ago . . .  lo and behold . . . had a website!  Since I was new to the "hobby" in the Internet age, I had not seen any ladies' websites before.

before I retired.  Just for rubs and tugs, no FS.  I waited till retirement before venturing into full hobbying.  (Sarah, I think I told you why I waited.)  I was divorced, had no girlfriend, and not really interested in the dating scene or bar-hopping to look for gals.  I was still interested in having sex even if I had to pay for it.  Not sure how I found TER, it might have been through a local adult magazine I used to read regularly.  How I found my first provider was probably thru TER, at this point, I really do not remember.  As far as the internet goes, I had been on it long before getting involved in P4P.

of mine took me to a hooker bar in Tampa where providers would come and sit next to you at a booth in the bar and you would negotiate what was going to take place. Once the deal was made, the provider would tell you the name of the hotel and you would meet her there. No GFE back then.

Same old story...100% sexless marriage that was in the toilet.  I first discovered the old site escort dot com and made my first date there.  Couldn't be too choosy since I was a newbie but I found a nice enough lady and booked 2 hours.  This lady never stopped talking.  I mean it was crazy.  Looking back I should've gotten much more from the date but I was nervous so it was only BBBJ.

Stumbled on the internet hobby life in the early 2000's with some site which led to another and to another and then here.. There were so few hobbyists and providers online back then as this was all fairly new at that point. The good ole days.. but I discovered that TER was the best site to work with and a stable safe place too... There were other popular sites back in the day but they are either gone now or barely hanging on. I recall trying to learn the lingo and was amazed how many ladies literally travelled to Russia and Greece and thought WOW what is the attraction to those places until I learned their "other meaning"!! LOL!!

She was a 4' 11" cute young lady from Rockford, IL. This was in Chicago. What was her name....damn memory fails me. Edit: See DGL14's post. My journey was similar. Specifically a canine board led me here.

I decided to see a professional the first time when I finished boot camp and was finally able to leave base for the weekend.  I walked out the gate and pretty ladies were throwing themselves at me (for money of course).  I came to terms with a young beautiful lady, hopped in her van and pounded out two pops in the back. Left with a smile on my face.

My first time, about 7 years ago at 53 yo.  Same story of no sex as others.  Found Ter a year earlier on an HBO special on escorts, great publicity, and I thought how hard can this be?  First try failed with no history, then my first on a business trip to Vegas.  Top 10 provider at the time, taught me a lot, great Lady.  Thanks Sierra, long retired or UTR.

I went to college in New York. My senior year, a firm outside of DC contacted and arranged to fly me down and put me up in a hotel (with a food per diem) for the night. This was all very exciting. The previous summer, I had worked on Cape Cod, and my boss, in the course of a conversation about one of his friends, revealed to me that "escorts" are providers. I had actually thought (how naïve) that "escorts" were ladies who would attend dates/functions/events so the guy would have a date to accompany him. I didn't realize there was something more to it.  I had of course seen "escorts" advertised in the yellow pages, and had always been curious.
