He doesn't give a rat's ass about your trust, whether or not you like him, whether or not you think it's fair, etc.  This is his little kingdom, and he can do whatever he wants. I have this visual of a guy standing in front of a mirror in a long coat, with a two billed hat on sideways, and his pudgy hand stuck in the vest between 2 buttons...kinda Napolean like!

RC I do have a serious question....nothing smartass, but why barrage of new rules?  I know you aren't the one who makes them up, so why is TER admin. constantly coming up with new rules to stifle any actvity that most members seem to enjoy?  That's it...That's my question   WHY?

Look, I could give a crap about the rules and the petty bickering between you and everyone else.  I am here to find the perfect person for me and my girl to hook up with.  Not make a lot of friends and become involved in a little community.  I just want to find the right woman.  That is the purpose of this site (I think).  These rules in place...the ones you quoted right now, they are a bummer.  I want to see as many pics and links to sites with pics as much as I can.  I pay money every month to get that....but to restrict these women (who I think pay also) from advertising (again, I think that is the purpose of this site) is just stupid.

If one girl puts the time and energy into posting (advertising) and another doesn't, well that just means one is smarter than the other.  I agree I think a limit to the number of posts should be required or we would have hundreds of threads, but for God's sake let them post their advertisement anyway they wish and lure customers in.
What you are doing is equivalent to NBC restriciting how many commercials Budweiser can run on their station because Miller does not want to run as many as Bud.  
They pay to advertise let them so I can find a woman and have my threesome and be happy.
God I hate boards, they always turn into drama and all I want is sex.
The intersting part will be if you post this or not.

First and foremost this site is about the reviews.  Not the ads.  So, your first paragraph is shot.

Second, there is a limit already set by the administration of the site (not me, i've just been asked to enforce them), that says 1 ad thread per 7 days.  Period.  So, Florida came up with a great way top do a little more.  But these aren't "ads" ;).

But as soon as they begin to overrun the site and make the entire thing about ads, what happens?  It's all ads and no substance.  Or maybe it's just a place to go look at pictures of pretty ladies.  Hmmm....   Maybe EROS?  Check there if all you want is ads, or maybe a porn site if you just want the pictures.

First, I agreed there should be limits or we would have hundreds of threads.  Second, substance?  Listen, all boards turn into communities.  No board will ever be all business.  That is not normal human sociology. I have been a part of many boards and they all follow the clique-ishness and petty-ness model of this site.  However, this is my first "sex" board, so maybe I need to keep lurking and shut up, but as far as I am concerned EVERY SINGLE PERSON HERE is here for escorts and sex.  If not...well, they just wouldn't be here and pay every month.
So, I am sorry to tell you this, but this site is foremost and mainly about guys getting their freak on with women, and women making a living.
Now, I would disagree that every post by the women here are not an attempt to get customers.  We get to see their personalities, we get to "know" them, and thus we then fuck them.
The women know that, and I promise the more active women on the board, even those who do not post "Ads" by your definition, get more men than the ones that do post less.
It is simple human pyschology, and basic marketing 101.  The women are here to market themselves, the men are here to be suckered in, and all the other crap is fluff to make us feel like "this is all ok, no moral or legal issues, we are a community, hey this is great and fun and I am not a perv!"
Again, speaking for myself, I like to see all the pics of the women here because my girl is picky and I need to find the perfect one, and the more pics the better we can tell their true looks and the faster I have my threesome.
But I will concede that I read some of the threads for fun...but again, I am measuring the personality and quality of the escort, not becoming her best friend.
My impatience with all the arguing is over stupid little things like, no links, too many pics, and once I wanted to post a question if anyone knew this certain provider and you denied it because it had a link to another site, but how else am I supposed to ask the guys about other providers?
I think overall this site is WAYYYYYY too insecure about other sites.  
And by the way, EROS is better for quickly searching providers, but you never know if it is a ripoff, which is the most valuable asset of this site....true, live, feedback.  But I am certainly not sitting here rubbing one out to pictures of half naked women...I have DVD's for that!

do something about the constant, growing stream of non paying, CL providers with NO reviews.  They have invaded TER like a locust plague, but no one has come up with any RULES for them.  Also, why are there all of these limits on a thread stating no links, one pic, etc... because it constitutes an ad, yet there are NO rules against a provider putting up an ad, then replying to it 5 times herself, each time adding a new pic and/or link.  THIS is OK????  None of this makes sense! The interpretation of these RULES is totally arbitrary, and the enforcement is NOT done in a fair or evenhanded manner...again totally arbitrary! Admin and certain mods have managed to turn good discussion boards, into a three ring circus, and it seems like they are finding more clowns to put in as ringmasters!

I have been an indy for over a year and the posting rules of TER have been VERY clear to me since DAY ONE. Here is goes.....

1.We get ONE ad a week and we can YES reply to it w pictures because its OUR AD and we get to place it ONCE A WEEK

2.There's no rules againts CL providers posting on TER nor does it say anywhere that you MUST have reviews in order to post. NOT the provider's fault if she has reviews or not. She may be a newbie waiting for her clients to start writting. Not every gent writes reviews.

3.We dont know for a fact who's paying and who's not and still there;s no rule against that. You'd be shocked if I told you how many WELL known providers I know and am friends with that dont have a VIP membership. Nothing wrong with that.

4. The point that seems to not be getting across is that TER is a REVIEW board with an EXTENDED benefit to allos us posting/advertizing. Its original intent is to allow gents to do re-seach before they see a lady. The boards were meant for the GENTS to discuss hobbying related topics. At some point they decided that allowing the ladies to post 1x a week would be a good idea, but OVERALL TER is a MEN'S BOARD. IF they decide (which I personally wish they did) to turn it into more of an Advertizing Board, we would be paying for our ads and have banners up, links etc.
Our VIP membership allows us to do the SAME thing yours does. If I were them Id change that but tehy choose to stick to what they started with originally a MEN'S REVIEW BOARD, NOT an Escort Mall or a Screening Board.

I understand all of items 1-3, and am well aware of what TER WAS!!  However, it's evolved since then into something less drab and business like to something more personal, and enjoyable.  You, and all of the other Sly worshipers should be more aware of what the problem is here than anyone!  Although I could take him or leave him, Sly pretty much stayed out of it, and stepped in when necessary to keep the peace, or stop overadvertising, or anything else that would grossly affect the board, or broke the BROAD rules of TER. NOW we are strapped with a mod who nit pics EVERY rule he can find, and gets true enjoyment out of putting up threads like this, then sits back and enjoys the drama unfold.  You can't go backwards and expect NO resistance.  If I wanted to be in a place that arbitrarily enforces the "rule de jour", or makes up new ones on the fly, I'd apply for citizenship to North Korea.  By the way, I think you need to get out of the cold for a while...I really don't know how to take a "kinder,gentler" AmberAshley!  LMAO  ;-)

....a little bit about my self.  I have a job that I am sort of a mediator so to speak.  I also have a couple of hobbies that I am also a mediator.  Yes, there are rules in alot of things in life, but there is also common sense.

First off, being a moderator can be a thankless task.  But if done fairly and with a little bit of common sense, it can be enjoyable and worthwhile.

A better approach you may have taken is, starting Monday, please try to adhere to the following rules for picture posts.  Instead, you would rather exert your authority in an inconsistent manner.  You wiped out parts of threads, which ladies worked on this morning and left other parts up, not following your rules (i.e. "Fishnet Friday", lets see, has a photo and a link, doesn't look like an ad.)

But in looking at the other boards in other cities you appear to be one of the few moderators who gets a "hard-on" enforcing the rules and you are inconsistent at best.  I did not see this type of post from up high on any other board.

I don't know if you have been to S. Florida near the drawbridges on the Intercoastal, but they all have trolls who like to come out of their shacks and say get behing the line or gate.  Might be a perfect line of work for you to consider.

I actually agree somewhat with those "rules"....
I know....I know....I'm shocked as chit myself.

1. Perfectly fine and makes sense. For a provider to start another daily thread when there's already one up...is just tasteless self promotion and totally lacking in class. IMHO.

2. Not crazy about this one....but I can, and have, seen how some providers can take allowing more than one pic a little too far. So it's probably a case of everyone suffering due to the actions of a few. Thing that makes NO sense whatsoever is that they can do it in their "ads"...but I digress.

3. No links? Silly...but I guess that's what would make it an "ad". I suppose if we want to see more...we just click on their reviews and view their website. Anyone who can't figure that one out...really shouldn't be allowed to get laid anyway...LOL.

The FL board has slowed down a great deal and become pretty dead....so the mission was accomplished a while ago. This is just sprinkles on the icing of a sh!t cupcake...so to speak.  ;)

I am going back into semi-lurke mode, but I agree (again) that limits on the number of threads (ads) has to be placed.  And certainly if a provider posts 13 pictures on one thread that would be annoying.  But why come down so hard on the active "supporters" of this site.

I think our issue here is that RC is unable to make insightful and logical decisions that would leave room for some rule bending for minor offenses, and is instead hiding behind the rule book and sees only black and white without greys, blues, pastels, or neons. Therefore we have boredom setting in. I think rules on a board should be more of a guideline....like the Pirate Code.

Sad, because I do find this board boring and log on less often.

..with RC on this one, although on #2 point I'm not crazy about, if they post a 2nd pic in context on the thread, i think it's cool.... but i agree overall, the Florida board is pretty unique that it has ladies pic 'theme days' which we all enjoy. It is in a way a 'free' addie for the ladies, but was never planned that way, it just evolved that way in a very fun & honest manner. So here in Florida we have a theme day every day but Sunday (come on ladies, let's someone start "Camel Toe Sunday will ya already!) plus a provider call out on Friday along w/a theme day, then the usual 1 week add for the ladies. Ya gotta have a limit, or every provider is making up another theme everyday,  where you have 2 or 3 compeating agaist each other, then it becomes not so special.

It's also nice to have some dialog here as well, after all, if you look to the top of the board, it says "Florida Discussion Board". I may not have much to add to it other than a smart ass comment, but alotta other folks do.

So this is not a real big deal RC is stating IMHO.....

Another thought for the Ladies, which Eve gave me an idea of, if not Camel Toe on Sun, how 'bout 'Cum Shot Sundays"  or "$ Shot Sundays"lol....just a thought... ;-)

First of all, the girls that post the pics are the same ones every day.  If the  other girls don't  want to publish pics, why punish the ones that do.  The pic days is one of the things that make other people from across the country look at our board.

Let's be honest, do you really think more guys are gonna see Eve, Sindie, Jada and the others because they post pictures?  Come on, be realistic, everyone already knows who they are.  So why deny us the pics????

I inow you are a new mod, and you are making a name for yourself here, but it ain't good!!!!!  It seems that you want to stifle what has made the Florida board into the popular board that it is.  WTF is wrong with you?

If you want to earn our trust, give us some latitude here.  Otherwise, you will only alienate everyone that makes this board the best regional board on TER.  And if  that happens, the Florida board will degenerate into the same shit-pit that the other regional boards are already in.  No one will want to post anything.

If we want to check out Tits and Ass, then perhaps we should ubscribe to Penthouse, Hustler, etc. Lets stop pretending this is something it is not. This is NOT our personal "jerk off porn stash" or peep show. To point #1....You are correct, we don't have to trust him, like him, etc....but, this is a customer service function, and you know what they say in business, "the customer is always right!"

To point #2....Like was previously stated, there are rules in lots of things in life, but there is common sense.  This moderator has done a fairly inconsistant job of applying the rules and uses no common sense.  He has also used the line that it is a TER mandate, which I do not believe.  I look at other boards and there is no such mandate.

To point #3....This board needs providers to generate reviews.  Also, most successful providers do not need this board to be successful.  An ad tab is probably needed for ads.  The 7 day rule is fair, but those that complain that their ads are getting pushed down etc aren't getting the work or are not trying hard enough.

You are correct though, if you don't like it, don't log in.  Then maybe the powers to be will get the message....

In conclusion, this is one of the best boards going, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. ;-)

......it does not matter how long a "thread" is on any board, it will not push off a ladies "legit" add to the next page. TER was designed to accommodate 25 threads/page. it could be 25 ladies add threads w/no responses’ like most of the other regional boards, or it could be 25 threads w/50 'Eternal" posts/thread...it don't matter....if your add is @ the bottom of the page @ #25, it won't go away until # 26 is posted @ top, which is probably some ladies 'legit' add, lol...
so a lady can post multiple pics on her (& is allowed) add thread, & it's not pushing off any other threads any more than if it was just the single post...so there :-)

One other option would be to contact TER and request that the rules be modified.  If the case was presented logically and objectively, I imagine it would at least be considered.

It seems that every  other week or so ( on Friday afternoon) you cause drama and discontent.
I do not agree that this is first and foremost a review site. Yes I know it is The erotic REVIEW and True reviews are a big part of the site , however if it were not for the ads with pics and the ladies starting threads putting up pics,  participating in discussion, putting up pics, and putting their name out there and putting up pics. We would not know they exist and would not get to know them and would not go see them and if we do not go see them  THERE ARE NO REVIEWS.

About 2 months or so ago you were welcomed to this board with open arms, Well the honeymoon is over and you are headed for divorce court.
I would have thought you would get the hint from the last few times you did this.
Slow down , stop trying to flex your muscle take the advice of swim (i agree with what he said) and maybe a short
Separation so you can think things over and come to your senses, you  may be able to  save the marriage.

Where is it you'd like the board to go? What new direction do you propose?  What positive guidance will be provided to make the board lively, interesting, meeting its purpose?  What do you want the purpose of this board to be?

It appears by the posts here that the attempt is to thwart the present activity on the board without suggested replacement.  What new innovative opportunities for meaningful excitement for the participants do you suggest?

It might be helpful for you to respond to this post.  Thus giving some things to take the place of what seems to be  taken away.
