Professional photos, good or bad or indifferent?

I know this is a subject that has been visited many times.  I'm going to be redundant and ask both the men and women what they think. I just had my first shoot and I'm loving my photos, they are freaking unbelievable.  Of course, I had hair and makeup done, special lighting, etc.  I will state for the record, I did not have any major cosmetic work done on my photos. That was one of my stipulations, I want to look like my photos.

So, what do you men think?  What is your preference?  A little of both, all professional or all amateur shots?

What do you ladies think?  Do you like the glossy beautiful photos of yourself or do you like to keep it real or both?

Thanks for your input.

Best,

Sunny

Hello Beautiful,

I think a good mix of professional photos and amateur is ideal.

I love a professional photo.  It's good you went easy on the retouching.  I am the same way..  I have a photo that I absolutely won't use because I can tell it has been SO retouched and I don't want to feel I've falsely lured anyone into my lair.  ;)   Maybe just edit out a blemish, etc.    Hair and makeup and a great setting can be super fun, classy, and a nice change from bathroom mirror photos.

I also like to throw in amateur photos so they know I'm not hiding anything.

BTW, I think the photos on your site now are FABULOUS.

I think everyone wants a true representaion of the  provider. In your case I always felt your pictures didn't show how beautiful you are. I realize they were not done by a paid photographer but there was always things in the backround of the photos that were distracting and a lot of pictures were not taken at the the most flattering angels. I think unretouched professional pictures are a good way to go. I am looking forward to seeing a true presentation of you. You are a stunning woman and these pictures should give a more accurate picture of you.

If you have a decent camera and a willing participant you can take great shots.  Granted evidently the professional ones can, and most are airbrushed to an extent, and when you consider the cost of them not many girls keep them fresh and updated.  So you risk the chance of getting more calls but then the gentlemen get disappointed if weight has been gained, airbrushing is way too much, or you have aged (like 10 or more years).  So it's a good idea to keep them fresh.  We can all look back and reminisce about the good old days, but keeping the photos to a likeness are important.  I try to adding photos at least every month and I don't think anybody minds if they are professional or not, at least it's the real me.

Just saying ;0)
P.S. That professional shot of you on the bed is awesome Sunny!

Wow, that's quite a compliment to my photog who is a very close friend.  If you can get great locales, that too will help with the amateur shoot.  Thanks for your input.

BTW, your photos are great!

I thnk a mix of both works the best...truthfully it was hard to tell the ones on you site now where not professional..you mean it gets better than that?   The less retouching the best.

I feel I have been burned twice by clic photos.  The photos looked great and then when the provider showed up either their body was much different or the photos were touched up big time.  with it being clic photos both times I feel strongly the photos were touched up.

I don't mind photos of ladies in jeans and sweatshirts.

Maybe a mix of both would be best.  We guys are visual creatures and we tend to fixate on images that may not be exactly what we see when we get to the appointment..

professional photos.  I like a variety of poses to include several full body shots so I can determine your proportionality.  Sometimes certain poses can hide some extra pounds (I know that doesn't apply to you) as well as give a bad representation of a lady's height or lack thereof.

Most guys don't want to see "everything'; leave something for the date.  It is fun to unwrap our present (you).

Thanks for asking.

professional and self-taken images.  I actually like her phone pics a lot.  As SoFlaGuy says, the glamour shots seem to sometimes represent something you *may not meet*.

I've also spent some (OK, a LOT) of time looking at Destiny's site, and there isn't much question on her site exactly what the girl will look like when you meet her.  Her video, while self-made (I think), tells a lot about her.

But to go have glam shots done and photoshopped to the nines?  I've met a couple of those ladies, and it's just not a comfortable feeling for anyone in the room when you walk in.

Good luck!

I like having a little bit of both. I have done both professional shoots, with my own camera that is awesome and with my camera phone when I'm feeling sexy before a date.

I can't wait to see your new photos!

I believe that the right answer is a mix of both amateur and professional shots.  That is the concensus and I agree.

Sunny

Photos make no difference to me. The price the girl charges and her reputation makes all the difference.

A littel ate to the question but I like both.  As was said before with the digital cameras out there today you can get very good quality shots on your own.

It is impossible to mess up natural beauty.  The professional touch will only enhance what is already there.  Your integrity will always show in your choices as they will be a perfect reflection of who you really are.  No one can ever say, "you don't look like your pics!"  Always accurate and current...It's your call!  I know it will be great - whatever!
