Goldie : Welcome to Orlando ! I would say that the Gaylord Palms is very nice hotel and has a GREAT Spa, pool area and is very close to Disney and most of the other attractions ( 407-586-000 ). However, if you are somewhat budget minded at all, I would recommend Hilton Grand Vacation Villas near Sea World ( 407-239-0100 ). Very spacious condos and also near most of the attractions. I don't think they have a Spa, but we have lots of wonderful Spa's in town now. Have fun and enjoy your vacation. DOG
I will be visiting Orlando at the end of April and was hoping for suggestions on accommodations and attractions. I am hoping to visit Universal Studios and possibly the Disney properties but what ELSE does Orlando have to offer? I am hoping to be in town at least 4 days after I land so I should have a ton of time to get a lot of sightseeing in as well as get to the beach possibly! Last time I was there this little dolphin kept jumping in the waves just 20 feet from me!
Also hoping for suggestions from ladies in the area for spas! Why not make a trip of it, right?
Is at the Ritz. It is very lovely! They space your services out so you can really enjoy the amenities and lounges. As far as other things to do, if you're looking for night time activities, Rocco's Tacos off Sandlake is a pretty lively spot every night. Vines, also on Sandlake is a good spot as well if you're into live jazz/bluesy type music as well. There's always Universal City Walk and the clubs downtown as well. There are plenty of those. There's also Blue Martini at the Mall at Millenia.
