I received an email today from Starr Alpha Girls. I replied by asking how they got my email address and the reply read "I have a few friends in the industry that are taking a break and they sent me their contacts."

Anyone else get an email from them?  I am talking about my personal email, not a PM here.  I want to know who these people are and who gave them my address.

This is why EVERYONE should only use a throwaway account for the hobby

Sounds like an agency that should be avoided if they're playing fast and loose with contacts.  Please tell me it wasn't a mass e-mail with all the recipients displayed.
