STAFF and MODERATORS...

This is my LAST attempt at contacting someone for answers before I close my account with you. I have Emailed you more then enough times to get an answer as to WHY with a VIP status, and being a paid member do I need to wait for someone to approve my posts?  I have been a member of this site for three years off and on.  I have your "seal" on my website along with your banner on my Gal Pals page.  Therfore, bringing traffic, and business to you.  I have about 15+ outstanding reviews here and now all of a sudden my posts need to be approved before they go on the board?

So see now, because you dismiss my Emails like they are no big deal, I am only left with this option.  I am thinking well, if someone has to approve my posts, then someone has to read this and MAYBE I will get an answer!

I am more then dissatisfied with your "support" team.  You should treat your donating patrons with a little more curtesy and respect then what you have shown.  Perhaps it's just me you treat this way, who knows?

Should this by some stoke of BAD luck, just go right through, I am sorry for bringing everyone who is reading this into my "drama" I put a post last night, and it still is not here, so I am thinking this one will say it needs to be approved also.

Frustrated!
Susan

PS IF you missed the question, I want to know why my post have to be approved?

A poster's moderated/unmoderated status is not related to their membership status. In other words, it's irrelevent whether you have a paid VIP account or a free Basic account. On the boards that I moderate, I attempt to switch everyone to unmoderated status asap. I feel it's especially important for the ladies to secure unmoderated status because then their schedule/ad posts are seen quicker. For me, people who post infrequently take longer to gain unmoderated status. How can I justify unmoderating someone if they don't have a posting history? The ladies need to show that they will adhere to TER's Posting Guidelines. I have no idea why you weren't unmoderated previously. As I wrote, I've been here 3 weeks. Before today, you posted 6 times in the last three weeks. Franky, that isn't enough posts for me to even notice your username, let alone unmoderate you.

I wrote the following on the Atlanta board yesterday on the subject of moderation status.

"I've been trying to unmoderate posters as I get familar with your individual style. It's my goal to unmoderate as many people as possible during my time here. In theory, unmoderating makes it easier for the moderator because (s)he will have less messages to check. On the other hand, when someone is moderated, (again, in theory) nothing slips through. The more often people positively contribute to the discussion, the quicker they will become unmoderated."

If you'd like to discuss this further, feel free to email me directly. I do not have access to any email that you may have sent to TER support.

I did not want this directed towards you personally.  Heck, I really thought THIS would not make it past the adim. My theory was that since my Emails were being dismissed, perhaps whoever reads this can say something to whoever is in charge of answering Emails. I have Emailed the "support" people about 10 times in the past four weeks.

This posting problem only started recentally.  It has not always been an issue.  My posts used to go right through.

Six times in Three weeks, that makes an average of twice a week right?  What's not enough about that?  I keep a very busy schudle, and do not have time to sit here and post all the time.

I am asking you now to please do something about this.

Thank You
Susan

As I wrote, I need to know that I can trust a poster to be unmoderated. You say you used to be unmoderated and now you're not. That tells me that you posted something that caused one of the moderators to change your status. I'm not going to unmoderate you just because you pay for a membership. Keep posting...if you follow the posting rules and positively contribute to the discussion, you'll eventually be unmoderated.

Could my status have to do with the fact that my membership ran out and I did not reopen in for a few days?  I am a good girl, I would never disobey....

Susan

In my humble experience, Susan might disobey...but only for a good reason and if it felt good! But then again, what do I know?
