In SF, extras are prevalent in most clubs. Fairly openly, as many dancers will raise the subject first. Of course, not all dancers in all clubs, but I'd say it's much better than 50/50 if you are well dressed and tipping.
I don't engage in the hobby often mostly due to time obligations and distance, but when I find myself with a spare few hours unexpectedly, it's a moderately-okay spur-of-the-moment thing, or when you're not sure what kind of gal you might want.
The bad news is that the experience is usually pretty mechanical and is lacking much in attitude and execution. Conversational Spanish helps, but it won't really break those barriers. The price to performance ratio is generally poor, as is the menu. And in particular for your prefernce: any BJ at all will generally be a quick cursory CBJ (more of an inspection really than something fun) with the name of the game being CFS to completion as fast as possible to get it done with. There are also plenty of ROBs. You'll have to figure out on vibes alone as there really isn't any review or reporting system in place.
There are exceptions, you might find BBJ for extra $ in select particularly extra-heavy clubs, but even then that's a bit like going to the casino expecting to win.
With time to plan and research, I would never ever consider a strip club a Plan A.
