Hi Guys,

Actually Britain is still using imperial measurements mostly. Vital statistics, weight and height are measured in both metric AND imperial. We can take our pick.  We still have a lot of mature citizens who experienced the last war and are strongly opposed to metric and upset by the confusion it causes them. Hence their opposition to joining the EEC in total. I for one sympathise with those people.  However, our foodstuffs are in metric. Believe me it does get rather confusing at times though!   I did customise my website for here. I wouldn't want you to have to suffer the same confusion we do :-)) Also ... we still use pounds sterling and not euro currency. Yet another difference .... LOL!   Hope this helps?
