I agree with others that there is nothing wrong with looking at hot looking ladies any time of the day.  

I agree with haya in that the theme days have gotten out of hand.  Friday should be only "Provider Friday", no other theme.  Not sure we need a theme on the weekend days either since views are not nearly as great as during the week.  

Also, Several years ago a wonderful lady who is still a participant here started a "Hobbyist Monday" theme.  Thank you Sexy Toni for doing this.  Wonder what happened?  Do the ladies of today still care that most of us treat you like the angels that you are?

I fuckin hate it that ladies seem to stay up till the wee hours of the morning to simply be the first person to post a stupid fuckin theme thread!!!!  Get over it....its old, its worn out, its simply a way to get around the 1 ad a week thread!!!!!

I dont give a fuck if people want to blast me...there was a time when the only other call out for a lady was Provider Friday started by Sly.....and even he asked that there not be a theme on Fridays due to the Provider Friday and there already being a call out.

Haya, I have one comment and one suggestion. The comment: seeing a photo of a pretty, nude lady is NEVER "stupid." The suggestion: if you don't like seeing the photo threads, then don't open the thread and look.

The Florida board is one of the best on this site and ya know what save your bad attitude and drama for another board bc we sure as hell don't need it. If you dont like our board DON'T come looking at the pics!! This is a board for Providers and Hobbyists and we all usually get along on this board but your terrible attitude and disrespectful comment makes me think you need to get some good SEX fast!!! There is no need to bash people for just having fun! Did you ever think we enjoy posting pics I know I do!

...I still like the idea of Hobbyist Monday or whatever day. I guess it discontinued when I moved to Vegas or something and stopped actively participating on the Florida Board. My original thought in having that theme was to provide the ladies with the opportunity to thank a particular hobbyist who made their week special.  I know several gentlemen looked forward to it, and it was a nice way to publicly say "thank you". Perhaps we can reopen a Hobbyist Day.

You'd be left with the "clique" (which is greatly diminished, btw) posting their cutesy comments under an alias. A newbie doesn't stand a chance. Like bullies everywhere, the clique makes it clear who belongs, and who doesn't.

Other discussion here, but every local board is spinning like a square rock.

And when someone does post anything that could be of value to the community as a whole, likely as not it'll get a few reads, but fewer responses.  It sure as hell ain't what it used to be.

Normally, I would be the first person to defend your right to express your opinion ... even when it makes absolutely no sense to me like in this case. Feel free to explain it coherently next time.

How do theme days stop you or anyone else from starting a discussion thread? Your entire post reminds me of my childhood when my grandfather would tell me how much better things were in the "good ole days" when he walked uphill to school both ways, barefoot, and in the snow even though we live in Florida. Also, using the word "fuck" every other word doesn't help prove your point. It just makes me wonder how such a meaningless topic can make a person so angry. All the problems in the world and your big concern is some nude photos on a sex board?

Personally, I like the theme days. I live in Tampa and Alyssa Day is based out of Miami. If it wasn't for her posting pics on theme days, I wouldn't have been aware of her existence and so eager to meet her when she visited Tampa. So the theme days do have some value for us guys, too.

I don't think it matters when the first post is made.  It's marketing 101 to be the first name up. If a lady wants to set her alarm to be first, then I salute her diligence.

There was a time when this board had enough discussion and banter where the theme day threads got in the way, but those days are long gone. THIS board would die a slow death without them and this is by far the most active regional board on TER.  Just imagine what would happen to the other boards if the theme days were gone. When I moderated this board, I was against the theme days (as were most of the mods), but now I believe it's both fun and necessary to keep the flow.  I only click on the posts that interest me and always use the "tree" format.


It's funny, but I now read the ad board first before coming to this one.

Haya didn't use much tact in his post but from an outsider's observation he makes some valid points. The Minnesota board doesn't allow these types of "theme" posts but I can't tell you the exact policy. I believe they are considered ads and relegated to the ad board. Right now Florida has 7 of these type of posts on the first page!

Looking at your "top 10 posters" and the top 10 on the Minnesota and Phoenix boards, it is interesting to note that 9 out of the top 10 here are providers. Minnesota has 6 hobbiests in it's top 10 and Phoenix has 4.

I just wish all those ladies and gents alike who agreed 100% with what I said who PM'd me would post their thoughts on the open board for everyone to see.

Was I tactful with my words....NOPE, and that was the point....sometimes enough is enough with certain things, and in my opinion, if the theme days went away, guess what....different conversation would be taking its place....from ladies and gents alike.

I think after being a member here since 2003 makes me qualified to comment on things from the past, and how its progressed in both a positive and negative way here.
