I have NOT posted this week because...

Peighton had a pretty severe car accident. We were supposed to go to Panama City this weekend, stopping in Mary Esther (by Destin) first for her to see a client for an extended appointment.  Well, Peighton decided to just go to see the client in Mary Esther only and not go on to Panama City with me because we did not get much interest there for her. I urgered her to just cancel the appointment in Mary Esther and we would refund the deposit he had paid, but she decided to just take the 7 hour each way drive by herself (I could not go with her because I had to go to Panama City). Well, she made it there without a hitch and spent several hours with the gentleman and even though he offered for her to spend the night with him, she had to get home to her dog. Well on the long journey back, she fell asleep at the wheel around Gainesville about 2am or 3am and hit the guard rail very hard, which spun her out of control and sent her into oncoming traffic. She woke up in time to hit her head very hard which knocked her out temporarily. She also has a broken wrist and broken ankle and is pretty banged and bruised, but very happy to be alive. As she was spinning out of control across the other side of the road at oncoming traffic before she ran into trees on the other side, hitting her head and being knocked out, she saw other cars (which she narrowly missed) and would you believe that no one stopped to check on her or call HP or the police? Good thing she did not need immediate medical attention!

Well, needless to say, she will not be going on any more long road tips herself and will also need at least this week to heal a little. If you would still like to see her (even though she is a little handicapped right now), because lord knows she needs quite a bit of money to fix her car, please email or call me and we will see if she is up to it.
