Florida is a big state and it looks like there is enough traffice to support two boards. I'd recommend a split along the same geography as Eros. One board could be Tampa/Orlando and the other South Florida.
on this board for a while and I have to say that there is very little stimulating discusion on this board. It's mostly provider ads. Take a quick look at LA and DC, two other boards that I check on from time to time. They've got ads, too, but much more provocative discussion going on there than here. I haven't given up yet...maybe after summer is over and folks start coming back to FL the qulaity of the posts will pick up. For now, mostof what I read here isn't that interesting. I can't see how brea,ing it up into two boards would help.
BTW, I assume that Tallahassee and the panhandle would be in the Tampa/orlando part of your suggestion, right?

How about: 1 board for S. Fla 1 board for Tampa-Orlando 1 board for N. Fla-Alabama
Different perspective here from the panhandle. It is frustrating to read messages and waste my time trying to figure out what area is being discussed. Often, it is not stated in the messages and I spend my time to only find out that the provider is in Miami (11 hr drive) or Tampa (7 hr drive) Localized baords might provide for more interested and less frustrated readers.
I agree it is too big of an area for one board. I have lurker these boards for a while and it hasnt been the same after ofc. (opeartion flea collar) But I hope one day wit and humor woould be blended with the ads from the hot looking ladies looking for a guy like me.

I don't know why we can't get it going, but we don't seem to be able to.
How many of you participate on the General board and not here? Why not bring some of those issues here for anyone who doesn't want to "go national".
I have posted both here and on the General board and I have found that you don't get "reamed" as much here, maybe because nobody is paying attention or don't want to respond.
I've tried myself to get threads going to no avail. I don't bother any more. The Florida discussion board is boring. What does that say about our state? On second thought, maybe you shouldn't answer. LOL
