It doesn't matter, but I'm just curious.

Posted a message a few days ago seeking a reference (self or otherwise) for some company for tomorrow night, and didn't get a single reply.  I'm a respected TER member from out of state, and this is the first time, in all my travels over many years, that no one has replied!

Is there something in FL, or is it me?

I did the same thing a month ago and got one pvt message.

Most providers on here really dont private message people,i think They expect You to contact the provider of Your personal choice,unless You were very specific with Your particular needs.The florida board here since its state wide,isnt as close knit as boards that are a bit more local.Just My 2 cents.

go back and read posts for 6o days.  Notice how most threads have no responses?  My observation is that Florida is so large that the community is just not there, and/or with a few notable exceptions, not of much help. Most posts are provider announcements.  Don't hold your breath.

You have private mail. Sometimes we are out of town with not easy access to a computer. I hope you have good luck with having a wonderful time in FL!!

Well, 2 things come to mind, one guys come to florida and seem not to realize miami and tampa are not close, just posting that u r coming to florida, well whoppee.   and 2, i used to send emails but in 9 our 10 cases my recommendations were ignored.   just life, nothing else

but I think most of the people would rather you did a bit of your own homework and research and contact them as opposed to asking them to contact you.

would take just a couple minutes more and trol the board for some requests to respond to?  Jada Stone, Kymberly, Bridgette and (lately) kissikrissy and a couple of other providers do this.  Maybe they're the only ones that really give a damn.  Or everyone else is just as busy as they want to be.

Being only a basic member, I cannot send private messages through this site. I have gotten a few over the years, but I cannot read them or respond to them. Don't take it personally if you didn't get any responses hun.

This board is not really that useful. As stated before, it covers the entire state so you really don't get local input.  Plus if you look through the posts, you will see that probably 85% of them are provider ads.

This is the only post by xxxman is the past 30 days, according to the "search".  What board did you post on?
