There are a lot of expenses to be covered on a site like this - hosting multiple locations, the review team, management, lawyers, etc.

And you want them to give this to you out of the goodness of their hearts?  Just spend all the money so you can get info like a leech gets blood?

Get off your high horse and spend a couple dollars and get the info that helps you have fun.

Remember the old adage "You get what you pay for."

and support this community. There's much to be said about anything that comes to easy might not be worth the paper it's written on. You have to spend money to save money or your safety.

At $180 per year, that's about a half-a-buck per day. If ya' can't afford that, ya' can't afford the hobby. Now, the money issue aside, if all you're going by is the numbers, you WILL have some less than stellar experiences.

Sorry dude, but this site gives you all the basic stuff you need to know for free already. Is the girl's add real, is she the one in the pic, and is she a rip off.  Plus, you can figure out whether she is good or not by looking at her performance numbers.

I always look at performance.  Hell, if I have a great time with a lady, she looks absolutely gorgeous to me anyway.   It's easy to tell...look at some of the guys reviews...when you see a 9/3 it's pretty obvious what he was looking for....and it's just what he got!  LOL

I first look at the physical description in her profile as I know I find certain body types more attractive than others.  I am also very tall so I am naturally more attracted to taller women than really short women.  

Secondly, I look at the menu.  A lack of certain menu items will cause me to look no further.

Then I look at the pictures on her web site (as long as the body type or menu items has not eliminated her already).

Finally, I will look at the numbers.  I am a face guy so I guess I look at the appearance numbers first.  

If she still looks like someone I would be interested in seeing I will then read all of her current page of reviews to see how the guys describe the experience of being with her.

still use TER w/o a membership to do some very limited "due diligence" to see if the lady is "legit".  How?  You can see how many reviews she has....one or one hundred.  If she has a long history you can be fairly certain she's legit.  If she has one or two you don't know.  But, if you knew the limited reviews were all from guys with a lengthy reviewer history you might be more comfortable that while she's new, she's the real deal.

Still a lot of if's involved.

So, back to my original comment...get the VIP, have access to ALL the information you could ever want, access to PM so you can touch base with the ladies and fellow hobbyists for more information if you need it and life is all good!

As for TER, let them make the $ they need to continue to provide the best format available to guys and gals alike.  If the cost of the VIP saves you from one bad session or puts you on to one great session you are miles ahead of the guys rolling the dice with "other" resources.

It is a business and a private board, not a damned Public Service Organization.

Much like the burgers you flip for a living, if the meat of the product is free, then chances are that it is rotten as well.  The fact that members have to give something of value to get something of value helps maintain the validity, integrity, and overall value of the product.  Did you really need that explained to you?

Go to a Meet n Greet and see some of the beasts that get 8,9,10 scores for appearance. These creatures must bring a gun to the session - or a serious hallucinogen.

You can only go by the pictures and try to spot obvious photoshopping or trolls hiding body parts behind stuff.

When I first started hobbying, I was trolling Sunset and Hollywood Blvd.'s for streetwalkers, so itwas totally based on swift visuals.

When I first started to use TER's review database, it was all about the eye candy.

But now, I rely entirely on Meet n Greets to meet my new friends, because its not even about looks or even performance, its about chemistry.

I remember our chemistry being quite delicious too! I will always remember Whaletail!

avoid B & S, ROB, etc. just once in a calendar year.  Just think, you fork over 3 presidents and the lady is average in looks and a "just lays there" in performance.  How pissed would you be?

Use the VIP benefits to read reviews and not just look at the numbers.  Also, PM reviewers if you are in doubt.

So, you're willing to pay a few hundred bucks to get your nut, but you won't pay a couple to see if she's worth while.  Wow, that makes sense...

Write a review and help the brotherhood, or ask the hooker you see if she validates.

The reason they have blocked off performance is......

...most ladies do have pictures available on their websites, so everyone can make judgements on their own on that.  It is just another ploy to get readers to buy VIP. But people should do more reading than looking at numbers anyways.  Thank God I am all set!

But to PM you need to be VIP, so you would still have to get VIP membership to contact anyone. For that, you can just read their review.

My point was that with VIP, you can PM reviewers when there is a question regarding a particular lady and possibly conflicting review information.

Without VIP you can not read the details in the reviews nor can you send PM's whether they be to fellow hobbyists or providers.  Approximately $.50 per day or one less special coffee drink per week.

The problem with making the payments is that you have to give personal info which is associated with your profile.  I don't pay because I don't want my personal info on here so I just write the reviews and get VIP once I see a lady.


For me, that is the biggest problem.

I agree, maybe an untraceable way to pay could be devised.  I use reviews & currently have over 2 years credit, but for those that don't review it could be a problem. ;-(

Wow, if you can get that much credit for reviews why do any of the gentleman pay for the vip membership?  

I pay for the VIP because it looks good busines wise and I totally enjoy the conversations of the ladies in the providers only section.

You can pay anonymously with a gift card. Immediately, go to the newbie board and search "gift card". You will get the information on how to do so...and for all who say gift cards do not work, I have been paying for a TER VIP membership via gift cards for five months.

It's performance that counts.  In general, if I'm reading her reviews, I've already checked out the pics on her website, and liked what I aaw.  The performance number itself doesn't mean much...the narratives are the deciding factor in whether I decide to see someone.

Not that this applies much to me anymore.  I've been around awhile, and have a circle of friends I prefer to spend my time with.  I've been in a comfort zone as a hobbyist since the beginning, and intend to enjoy the ride indefinitely...

Scarlett, I pay for VIP because I see the same girls over and we only get free days for a first review of a girl.  I do write reviews and get the free days occasionally also.

Here's a hint guys, get your VIP around Christmas time.  I have done it twice and gotten an extra 90 days free, which is 455 days for 180, do the math, it's really pretty cheap.
