I started with a free site but it had it's draw backs. One of the biggest is that owners of these sites put advertisements for other paying customers on your personal website. They own your web address as well so your info will live on long after you leave if your popular with the search engines. On the Naughty&Sexy free sites guess who whispers cum on in .... Ashley Madison or AdultFriendFinder . Now most men will either click out of their few annoying pop-ups or they click out of your site. RareEscort use to have a link to all the other ladies who payed for their site.

Now some of these free sites have a paid version where you buy and own your .com. The company branding now disappears as well as their other advertisements. Much better looking site without tacky ads.  

As a new provider doing free for a short time works fine but there are so many low cost options and wordpress is used widely amongst many ladies.

I've seen him for the last 4 years....
