Is Daytona Beach a dead area for the hobby?

I love it there and I am trying to plan a visit but i dont see many providers in that area.
How come? am I missing something???

I did one ad somewhere and got no response
(this is not usual)
I see a lot of agency's are there...

I Know when the big events are-

I mean on a regular basis is Daytona a dead area?
for the hobby..events come and go, but I want to re-locate there if there is biz...
based on my zero phn calls today, it looks like no.
Rats!! I want to move there for the winter and maybe longer.Im tired of Old New Orleans.

We have MANY great providers just down the road.  It's about 50 miles from Daytona to Orlando - From where I sit, Daytona is just 'so-so' as far as 'the Hobby' is concerned.  A lot more action in O'Town.

Oh I see! well I have a already-paid-no-cancel-no refund-packag deal for Daytona beach.

Maybe somebody will keep me company! but at least I will be on the beach having a good time!!
