Thank you Toni.

...to those who have served, thank you for your service to our country! I am proud to be an American and enjoy the rights and freedom that I enjoy each and every day!

May everyone enjoy a safe and blessed Memorial Day Weekend!

Always Sexy,
Toni

ho made it back, with heavy hearts, salute those friends and comrades who are missing from the table.

Thank you Toni

to defend our shores and allow us the freedoms we sometimes take for granted.

God Bless the USA!!!!

I am anti war and anti invasion of other countries that have nothing to do with our freedom and security.   The invasion and occupation of Iraq, the destruction of that country, hundreds of thousands of men, women and children killed, millions more rendered refugees who fled to Jordan and Egypt, the abuse and torture of detainees at Abu Ghraib prison WAS inhuman.

There is nothing to be thankful for.

...without getting into depth, I will agree that there are circumstances in which the US should not interfere. We should stand and defend. Period! I commend, thank and honor our troops. As a nation we have our own issues at home and should focus upon those issues as priority prior to those of other nations.

Regardless, my post was not out of confusion, to incite riots  nor debate, but merely to honor those who have lost their lives, thank those who have served, and wish everyone in TER-land a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend!  Peace out!

Always Sexy~

I'm glad you in a way agree that all lives are precious, whether American or foreign.    Keep our troops at home and don't send them out to kill innocent people.   It is not politics.

...and as we remember those who have died, it is the perfect time to thank those who are alive that served and are serving now. Nope, no confusion here. But thank you for clarifying for others, that there there is a difference between the two holidays. It's not just a day off work  or time to drink and party. It is an American holiday, a day to honor those who have died serving our country. I will send another thank you to those who are veterans on Veterans Day.

Having served in both the USMC & USN, I'll accept your kind thanks.

The dead can be honored at the same time the living can be appreciated.

I'm an army brat myself, so Memorial Day is very important and special to me.
Thank you to ALL our service men and women who have fought for our freedom

...we have met, and you are Special, Important, a Brat ;) and YES...lol...WONDERFUL....Enjoy the day!

Who have served in the military... This one weekend that always pulls at my heart. Veterans Day is another one. I'm so thankful for all the courageous men and women who have risked their lives for us. I have had 3 family members in different areas of our military. I've watched one leave and come back. It's a was one of my most life changing events to watch them leave and knowing I may never see them again. The people who have lost their love ones in all wars and protecting the innocent has impacted my life. Thank you to everyone who has sent packages, mail, gifts and phone calls to anyone who has served in the military.
I honor you all, Mermaid Jade
