a "stood up by provider" warning

Hi guys. Just wanted to give Tampa hobbyists a heads up. Yesterday I got stood up for no apparent reason by a provider that had mostly good reviews. Cami, TER# 124372.
Set up the meet, drove 45 min to her incall general area, then no response for the 2nd call, to get the location details. Waited an hour, kept calling periodically, then her VM box was full. Never heard back. Went home.
I have excellent references, but she didn't want any. Thought that was odd. Should've tipped me off that things weren't right; but most of her reviews were good, so didn't think much of it.
Called today to give her the benefit of the doubt, to see if she was OK. She picks up, I inquired what happened. No credible excuse. Claimed bad connection, didn't get any calls, & that she waited for me. Asked if she tried to call me. No. Check your voice mail? No; she stated that she never checks VM. Not a good biz practice in this gig. Attitude was both defensive and aggressive.
Too bad, I was looking forward to it. Decent past reviews, but she's flaking. Be warned.

Don’t know enough about your particular situation but the safety thing is very real for all of us.  We don’t go out looking for streetwalkers so we do not get hurt or worse and you can’t blame the ladies for wanting to be careful too.

I’m still very new to the hobby and it took me a long time to break in.  Since I’m widowed and not exactly the youngest kid on the block I was willing to disclose a lot about myself since I have nothing to hide so to speak.  It worked for me eventually but I have nothing but respect for the ladies who turned me down.

Case in point, a lady I was with recently cancelled an appointment with the “creep” and elected to see me instead.  Am I her “knight in shinning armor”?  Dunno but this does illustrate why the ladies are so careful. It may not apply in your situation of course.  She might be a flake so move on.  The’re are many to choose from!

i think she might of double booked and the other guy beat you to it,
so here is a question for the ladies, do you do that double book in case one does not show up??
at least thats my theory

an answer from her as to why this happened!.  Never checks VM???  I've never met a lady that I left a message with that did not get back to me.
In fact, I expect not to have the phone answered, lol.  I figure they are just screening calls, or are busy.  Something not right there!

Thanks for the info!    Move on to the next!

6's and 7's, with a few 8's is below SEE Level. Meaning, I won't see them.

For myself, I feel leary of returning voice mails unless the caller specifically states that is ok to return the voice mail on a certain date and time.  I have seen too many people, including myself, given a lecture that I/we ladies should never return voice mails unless instructions are left that it is ok!

Does that make sense?

but the numbers need to be decent (7 or more) to get me to read the reviews.

That's an excellent question. Yes, I've been known to double book. However, I'm always honest with the gents. I will advise the second gentleman that I'm booked for the night and I'll ask him if he'd like to be placed on reserve, just in case I have a cancellation. Rarely do I have a cancellation, but if I do...boom...it's the guy on reserves lucky day!

Ciao,
Paris
