I posted on the M&G board to a thread from last week about the S Florida contingent having an after workday Hobby Happy Hour.  I hosted one for an alternative board here in S Fla and we had a good turnout.  Its meant as an easy informal way to meet each other afterwork and see what happens.    I found a convenient location, near the highway to make travel easy, that offered a few choices for food, fair price for drinks, and easy to accommodate 10 or 100 people.
