I am finding that this is happening a lot more frequently than it ever has before, and maybe it is a coincidence but it is very frustrating. There have been no less than 5 occasions during the past two months when I have contacted a lady at least a day or two in advance to make a date. I provide all of the pertinent information that is asked of me, and we do schedule a date. The day of the date arrives and when I call to confirm and give or get directions, I leave a message and never get a response. Obviously, the date doesn't happen. A couple of times, I have gotten a call back to try to reschedule, but I am hesitant to do so.
I remember a few years ago, this happened a bit when I was a newbie. But now, you can see I have submitted a few reviews, I am whitelisted, and I am also on another referral site with many references. Any suggestions?
Or has the BP bug bit you? Consider the source..... I cannot imagine a well reviewed lady would do this without a good explanation.

I understand your thinking, and no, the BP bug hasn't bitten me. Not only do I check the number of reviews a provider has, but also who is submitting the reviews for her. As an example, the most recent lady has more than 10 reviews, and more than half of the reviewers have at least 8 reviews of their own. It is very rare that I see s lady with little or no reviews.
One of the better-known autobiographies by an escort posited that the men who visit escorts usually either really love women or really despise them. I never really believed this until I started reading some of the messages in this thread. Some of these generalizations are appallingly misogynistic, and I'm not surprised the hobbyists hid behind aliases. If you guys really have so little regard for "hookers," why are you even on this website? I've been stood up a few times and I didn't like it, but I've also met a lot of lovely, giving, passionate women who provide an important service to the human race. But I never admired "hookers" more than I do now, after having read the crap that they must have to put up with from some people. Ladies, let me apologize to you for some members of my gender.

"Well reviewed" doesn't hardly mean shit any more and only adds to their attitude. They're making what they need to make to get by. They had to work in the beginning to get to be "well reviewed". Now they ride that wave and do whatever the hell they want. Why? Because they know all they have to do is damage control later on. Call back, an email, an apology, some bullshit excuse, and the dumbass guy will roll over in a heartbeat!
Bad behavior continues when it's reinforced. True with kids, animals, and hookers. By not calling them out, by not naming names, by accepting bullshit, by allowing their time to be wasted, guys send a message that it's ok and the women know they can just keep doing it. The guys don't want to hurt a "well reviewed" reputation for fear of backlash, so they just accept it and move on. Maybe they'll even post that something bad happened to them, but won't name names or do anything about it. So the cycle continues and the hookers get more bold.
If men ever started acting like men and over-rated hookers didn't have the reputation they do, you might see a change. When their phones stop ringing because of their actions, the women might get the hint it's time to straighten up.
I think I may be able to shed some light on the problem. Hookers are nut cases. You can't really blame them. Between guys giving them free shit just to spread their legs and the meth addiction, it's not like they lead normal lives. I'm sure they'll jump on and tell you that they're normal because they have kids, like evidence of fucking makes them normal. They are self centered and most are bi-polar and or ADD. Put it all together and you'll see that it's your fault that you think they will respect your time. It's like asking a newborn not to shit himself. It's just not gonna happen.

Personally, I take my reputation and my safety as a top priority. Why is it soo hard for a provider to understand common sense and good business practices. Not even so much business practice but "treat others the way you want to be treated".
I have on a few rare occasions had to cancel/reschedule appointments but I would never do a NCNS. Hell even if I am in the hospital you can bet I will go out of my way to contact the guy. Oh and if something does happen that is beyond my control (like that time of the month) then you can bet I will be honest and offer something next time around.
All of these things going on the last few days has me just beyond flabbergasted. Oh and BP has NOTHING to do with it. Many well known reviewed ladies, myself included, advertise on there. However, it does not mean that I will treat a gentleman with no respect.
I just really hope things change..if not, then the girls won't last and it's no one's fault but their own!!!

Let me just apologize up front for being a half glass full kind of gal. But, maybe with all the bad luck you have been having you will soon meet wonderful kind respectful women! I'm not sure of the age range of the women you are contacting, but I suspect that the mature providers are more reliable.. Just a thought?

Truth of the matter is, many hookers are lousy business women. They are hooking because they can do little else. Then they make a few bucks and think their shit don't stink.
So many of them get arrogant and self centered and as long as they have the shoe money in their pocketbook, they are good to go and to hell with everyone else.
What I find amusing is that so many of these hookers price themselves out of whack and then pay us back by NCNS's or just plain old flakiness.
I stopped using agencies a few years ago and I am now rethinking my future plans. All a hooker has to do is stay in her room and fuck me when I get there. Simple. No haggles no maintenance almost no bullshit. They have someone else doing the "complex" work of verification.

these 'well reviewed" whores have that caused the OP's issues to begin with. That "diamond encrusted pussy" attitude will also lead to board and off-board drama the likes of which would make Dynasty seem like Mr. Rogers if the whore knows who you are.
Second, being "well reviewed" is actually a hall pass for some of these whores to treat this like the ultimate seller's market and have no consideration for non-regular clients whatsoever. They can do this because they usually have a platoon of white knights backing them up, said white knights being the ones who gave them the reviews when the whores were actually being good whores.
Third, unless and until they are called out and hit in the wallet, they will not change their approach. They will continue to treat his time and money like entitlements rather than market shares.

I just had a conversation this morning with my favorite girl. You can see by my history that I'm still relatively new. I start with the thought that a large percentage of providers are going to have drug and other serious issues. Over 15% of the population are addicts and countless others have emotional/personality disorders. Certain professions are know to have much higher rates of problems than others. I wouldn't doubt it this was 80% for "hookers and whores", as it was nicely stated (lol). Before you jump on me for being a white knight, remember these are sick people. This is somebody's mom, sister, aunt, daughter, etc. Shit happens in life...and it doesn't discriminate. It could happen to you too.
Now, relating this back to the thread and TER...Me personally, I try and comb thru the reviews and posts for an Escort/Provider. I'm trying to avoid the hooker/whore. Yeah sometimes its hard to differentiate and the lines get crossed, but for me an escort/provider is a woman that I "would or could" see myself spending time with outside of the hotel room. She's professional, clean, funny, etc...She's the beautiful woman I'd consider taking to dinner or the theater. These girls do treat it as a business. They do respect and appreciate their clients for choosing their services. TER is the only source I know of that gives me the ability to have a better shot at finding this type of woman. If you are not into that, you have the choice to frequent whomever you want. I see no problem with the guy who just wants a mouth and a hole to stick his dick in. Sometimes that's just what is needed. Lastly, sometimes the sick heal and become the best professional escorts just as a professional may fall from grace. This is all part of the game. Throw in all of the different types of hobbyists and you've got a bunch of nuts (me included) in this business. First adn foremost, play safe. better to get NCNS and last minute cancellations than have LE show up.

This has gone so far away from where it started. All I was doing was bringing up an issue that seems to have become more prevalent in this industry. Maybe I have been spoiled, because I have had some amazing times with some gorgeous women that are not all hopped up on drugs or bipolar or anything else. Remember, it's called the world's oldest profession, but the emphasis on profession. There are a lot of professionals out there, and they are damn good at what they do. That's one reason why I see them. I am divorced, and I see them because I don't want to deal with the BS of a full relationship, and I am getting what I want. It works out well. The issue is the non-professional women in this profession, who don't have the common courtesy of calling people to cancel or just not make an appointment fir the hell of it.
