I am baffled at times ( because I don't have it in me )
by the underlying "stuck up" attitude of providers in their Ads, posts, websites Etc.

Now, I DO believe that what I consider "stuck up"
is "exclusive" or whatever term you want to put on it  to OTHERS .

I DO sometimes wonder if men find it MORE appealing
when a woman considers herself "above" others.

Like all other human beings (should IMO),
I examine everything I do & compare it to others.

On this board,
I have seen what I consider ungrateful, "full of themselves" providers
SOMETIMES, at what I consider astronomical rates.

Guys, are you turned on by an attitude of "You are lucky if I see you" OR...
do you prefer an, "I am lucky you want to see me" attitude?

I did not make it clear that it is NOT ALL providers here that I am baffled by.

I DO believe that BOTH attitudes are represented HERE.

I just wanted to make that CLEAR.

I have "connected" with some very down to earth,
sweet ladies HERE.

I know exactly what you are talking about by "underlying" attitude. It's not something said explicitly but I sense it when I read it. I stay away from those providers, if I didn't, I would probably bring an attitude of my own,and that would be no fun for anyone.

I just had a very similar discussion with one of my favs before my vacation and honestly I'm still shaking my damn head...

My guy actually went to see a girl who always has her ads to make her sound like she is better than all of us-she is the most beautiful, she has a better body-she is so intelligent-well traveled-etc...

My guy is so laid back and really just as nice of a guy as any woman would be blessed to spend time with. His first time with her she shorted his time by almost half-and he was mad but when told she had to run-he said he was turned off and didn't make a stink- OK-sadly this happens to a lot of guys-

BUT HERE is what I just CANNOT for the life of me understand-he wants to go BACK-

I usually try not to discuss other ladies or question who my guys see but he brought it up so I just had to remind him of what happen with his first time with her-so why-WHY-why would a total sweetheart go see this pompous bitch??????  

He states he thought I was going to be a real bitch before meeting me but now I am his ATF.
I asked him if he thought I was going to be a bitch-then why come??
He stated because I'm hot-OMG-there are a lot of hot women out there-who don't come off as a bitch...
I have heard this from many other guys along the way that because of how strict my screening is-they thought I would be full of myself-when they meet me they say they are glad they were wrong-but still they came not knowing.

SOME Men just love bitches-I believe that is the title of a book-
Some men just like the chase of what they cannot have-The hunt...
What I have learned here there is a different trigger for each person and to mix up the ads to attract all different guys.

It is sometimes difficult to represent oneself accurately in this form of communication.  Even more so when you have to watch what you say.

I am often accused of downplaying my strengths, or of coming off sounding to businesslike, when I am actually a warm and friendly person.  In some cases I have had friends proofread and "spruce up" some of my written correspondence.  I am retired from a professional career that required a more professional style of writing.

I would hope that my reviews would give a somewhat accurate picture of what I am really like, supported by personal correspondence and a phone call (and eventual meeting.)

Some I would never see, Some would never see me.  Price, board presence with attitude or arrogance and screening all weigh in on my decision of who I would see.  Of course do not forget looks and performance.  I have noticed the attitude you speak of on both sides. I know that the demographics of those I see is not the norm for the boards, but that is just me.  You Wildthing exude only positive in your communication with me and I find that very inviting.

A clients prospective,  think most ladies start out down to earth, but if they are successful, with the constant barrage of adoration from clients in sessions, emails, texts and reviews they can, if they are not firmly grounded, become “stuck up” and “full of themselves”
Case in point, a lady who I first saw when she was starting out and still see regularly was always an “ I am lucky you want to see me” provider.  She has, for good reason, been extremely successful, and has consistently stellar reviews.
Her Rates have increased exponentially to reflect her popularity; I have no problem with that, supply and demand! But being a regular I though we had a relationship above that of a provider/one-visit client, it’s a business she is running after all, what smart business does not take care of its regular customers.
While she does not appear "stuck-up" or "full of herself" emails this week-end made it clear she is now  “consider your self lucky to see me” and it is all very much about maximizing the money and nothing else appears to matter.
While I will continue to see her It has certainly made me do a re-think, which is probably not a bad thing!

This comes down to human nature I guess, what Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones in his candid biography (a good read btw) refers to as LVS – Lead Vocalist Syndrome, when due to fame and adoration lead singer egos take-off and he/she thinks they no longer need those that helped get them get started.

Atronomical rates - Your decision that I must live by . YOUR pocketbook tells YOU wether you are in line with the market or not . I have my limit as to what I will pay, and quite a few ladies are WAY out there in my south Florida market - I still see some fine , beautiful women !!!

I like your " I am lucky you want to see me " - there are 250 ladies on EROS , lets say another 100 on Backpage , Cityvibe - another 50 . Agency girls another 50 easy ........We are talking 500 choices here.............AND I CHOOSE YOU !  Hell even I as a guy would be flattered by that !

Regardless of how we market ourselves we should never look over our shoulder and think one of us is better than the other. We're ALL doing the same work here and we're ALL wearing the same title - no matter what spin we put on it.

When it comes to how we market ourselves let's face it - guys do want different things and if one girl can get 800 an hour for her gorgeous self (I once knew someone who did) we should clap our hands and applaud her for being so good at her game.

I might just be one of the girls who baffles you with my "approach". I'm from San Francisco, LA and NYC and I've never known another way to market myself. I promise I'm not stuck up, I don't feel like I'm better than anyone else and I'm grateful *every* time I see an invitation in my email inbox.

On a side note, I think you're a fantastically bright character who brings a lot of personality to this entire community. I love to follow you, read your posts and look at your "what you see is what you get" pics. I think you should start touring and sharing your lovely self with different TER communities because girl - you are IT!!!

I have noticed here and on other boards a number of providers with the "You're lucky if I see you" attitude and regardless of price, I immediately put them on my personnel DNS list.  I could name names, but that would be rude.

(I too did not say all or even most) ladies here who give the impression that a guy should consider himself very lucky to spend mega bucks to be in the lady's pressence. When I read these words in an ad I tend to move on very quickly. These negative words include "elite", "upscale who appreciates the finer things in life", my city's "best or highly rated lady", etc.

Encouraging words from a provider's ad like "let me help you take the stress out of your day", "I want to treat you like a king", "pamper you", etc. tend to catch my eye.

I am posting THIS because I am UNABLE to PM some of you.

The basic mentality of men is to conquer, it is the survival of the fittest. That being said, you can break men down by their life experiences and thus their desires (behaviors...)

Ex.1 would be the big money CEO. This is the guy who is willing to risk everything by screwing his secretary or anything around him because of his ego. This is the guy who seeks out the "big" ego ladies because it makes them feel like they are getting something better than the average guy...well because he thinks he is better than the average guy.

Ex.2 would be the middle manger type. He makes good money and maybe he wants to have what the "boss" has and looks to the "big" ego types as a way of compensating for what he doesn't have. Then again, this guy recognizes value more then the boss and is more likely to search out the greatest value for the buck. This provider would look like his fantasy woman, but would be respectful not haughty. After all, most men in this bracket do not like haughty women. We don't mind grudge fucking one, but we really don't want to spend a lot of time with them.

Ex.3 is the everyday Joe who works and finds himself wanting to have some fun. Maybe he is just bored or is just not happy with his everyday life. This guy might save up for a "big" ego girl, but more than likely he will search out the best bang for the buck too. This guy will try and find the $150-200 flavor and occasionally splurge to the $300's if something hot and sexy is found. BTW, this is the bread and butter for a lot of girls. These (some, not all) guys can be crude and unclean, but once shown the way by a solid provider they make positive adjustments and turn out to be reliable.

I could go on, but I think you get the idea. I looked at your website and was blown away with your eagerness to please and desire for fun. That is exciting and enticing too. I left your website thinking I would be a fool if I don't see you.

There is another girl on this site that is more exclusive and lets say more demure in her presentation. Her very attitude exudes confidence and I find her absolutely to die for. You two could not be any more different in your presentation, but both WOW me over. Does that mean either is right? or wrong? Absolutely not.  I think both represent an honest presentation of who you are and THAT IS WHAT ROCKS!

When money was no object I could have easily paid $$$$$ an hour, but always found myself saying I work way to hard for that. I don't like big CEO's and it seems I don't like the women who pursue them. Doesn't mean their not beautiful and all that, but it is an attitude of exclusion that turns me off. I was married to a haughty woman so maybe I am prejudicial...yikes!

And its the RIGHT attitude that makes most men pick up the phone and say YES PLEASE!!!!!!!!
