The only time I have asked for rates, is where a provider has posted her hourly rate and I have asked if she has a half hour rate.  I know that is usually like 60%-75% of her hourly rate, but I prefer to clarify.  But I will only ask once, not repeatedly, and never try to negotiate.

EROS, or anywhere else, ads that have no rates, and no website, are a waste of time to me.  I am not going to call and ask for rates, for the simple reason that if the rate is too much for my budget, I have to back out of the call gracefully.  That can be uncomfortable for her as well as me.

So, girls, if you don't have a website on your ad, at least give a rate, so we don't have to waste your time and mine.  It would save both of us a lot of time trying to make a connection that might or might not result in a date.

I feel your frustration, but I'm afraid it'll always be like this. Ladies post, guys will respond. It's the timeless pursuit of pleasure.

Only when the lady looks promising will I call or email her to gather more info. A porn star currently visiting Miami has yet to respond to my email, so I'm guessing it's one of those, "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" things.

Oh well, the pursuit continues.....

but I am one of those that will not call an unknown girl to find out her rates.  I don't ask simply because I feel uncomfortable doing it.

Seems to me that unpublished rates generally lead to upcharges or "what the lady thinks the market will bare". Guessing is not my thing and I also love published rates, however a reviewed ladies rates usually show up in her profile.

is the simple fact that you read over, and over, and over, on the boards, "Never, ever discuss money over the phone". Then you look at all these ads that say, "Call for rates".

Which is it? Make up your fucking mind!

Hi, O Great One,
No rates, No reviews, No website=no call   Later, Buddy

Seems to me that it would just make good business sense to include a website and rates at the very least...in fact anything that offers the client a reason to choose your services over those of another provider.  All other things being equal (or at least approximately equal), consumers in a competitive environment will normally select the seller that they feel they have the best understanding of....

How about when the ladies have their rates posted on ADS/websites/reviews and everywhere is posted "please dont ask about rates over the phone"

But YET 9 out of 10 guys call and ask what my rate is!!  So frustrating!

xoox

But for me, and I'm sure someone out there thinks I'm an idiot, I will not ask for rates over the phone, PERIOD!!!!!

I understand your frustration.

Well, as a good friend is fond of telling me, you can't fix stupid, and less than observant clients are just another part of being in business.  The idea is to approach the market in the best possible light....
