I've long wanted to explore Tantra, and have a few friends who practice. I also have friends who do other kinds of mind/body work but call it different names. Does anyone here practice this? Does anyone here spend time with ladies who do? How does your time spent in these scenarios differ from other scenarios? I'm interested in opinions and experiences.  

Would also love to hear from buttons b on this, as I believe you've taken classes in something similar recently?

is largely based on tantra and sex therapy and Buddhism. You can be legally certified to be an SB practitioner in CA (which I am) and several other countries (no other US states yet--though the Bunny Ranch is hiring some of my fellow SBs to offer something different). SB is based on breathwork, masturbation coaching, meditation, chanting, dancing, and other fun stuff.  

As for tantra, I would love to join some tantra groups in the Tampa area, but don;t want to go alone! Let's look into it, Sarah.

It sounds neat- do you prefer this type of work over regular encounters? Have you done much with it yet? How are the gents who seek this out different from the gents who seek regular escort services? Or is there no difference except in what they are seeking?

While tantra can sometimes be a bit woo-woo or hokey, sexological bodywork is more about somatic education--learning to be in your body in a different way/inhabit your erotic body more fully. Sex bod work is for men and women and couples--it is more holistic and less goal oriented. So, it is really good for guys who want a really extended sensual experience with some energy work 9tantra thrown in) and embodiment coaching/creative enaged conversation with touching, etc. Have you hear dof the Slow Sex Movement in italy--like the Slow Food movement? It is like that.

I was completely ignorant that this even existed until this thread was started. Since I first read it I have scheduled a meeting with someone who is going to intriduce me to this world and if I like it teach me more. I think she is uniquely qualified for this.
