Hello- I'm a little new to this (most of my 1st yr was primarily spent traveling with only 2 people) though I've been low-volume for almost 2 yrs. I try to stay UTR to a degree, and have (extremely) limited engagements and prefer few reviews.
While I typically remember to mention no reviews, I have made a practice of now remembering to request no reviews with everyone- due to advice I have received from others regarding recent activity in Florida. I enjoy being listed on TER and will again accept reviews when activity is less.

A reviewer visited me again today and said verbatim, "Do you know someone reviewed you? You say no reviews. It doesn't sound like you at all. Most of what's in it could've been pulled from your other reviews." Subsequent to vetting said review, I requested it be removed but hasn't yet.

Is there any reason anyone would leave a review on you if you've not met them?
Is there any reason anyone would review you though you've requested no reviews?

Why would someone post a review if he hasn't met you?

A guy gets 15 days free VIP membership if his review of a provider is approved. This allows him to have full access to be able read all the details of all providers' reviews including the scores and juicy details.
It's easier for a guy to get approved for a date if he has several recent reviews attached to his handle.
A guy appears to have a bit more board credibility when he has more reviews.
This, reportedly, happens frequently and if the hobbyist is caught doing this he's booted off the board.
Your most recent review is from a guy who has 15 reviews not counting yours. Those reviews go back a couple of years. He seems credible. I don't know if this is the review you're referring to.

Why would a guy review you if you've requested no reviews?

The basic rule is that if a provider has an active TER profile, she is fair game for reviews. If she doesn't want to be reviewed on TER she should request that she be delisted. When a provider is delisted her profile is inactivated and her previous reviews aren't available for anyone to see and the provider loses all privileges to post and advertise on the board. If that doesn't work, she can do things that will violate TER rules and cause herself to be delisted. TER was established for the benefit of the hobbyist so a guy could reasonably assure himself that a provider was legitimate and would consistently provide the level of service which she advertises within a reasonable YMMV variance and which her reviews support.

If you don't want any new reviews, you should share that with the client before you agree to meet with him. This can be done in private emails. The guy can then decide whether or not to meet you or to move on. If you agree to meet him and then when you meet one on one, spring the news on him that you don't want reviews, that's a form of Bait & Switch and regardless of the assurances of the hobbyist that he won't post a review, he's definitely within his rights to do so. Be upfront. That's critical in an interpersonal communication.

So, you have an active TER profile with very nice reviews and you've posted an ad on the TER ad boards today announcing that you're a JAX based provider visiting JAX (?) I'd say that you're fair game for reviews. You can't have it both ways. Just provide excellent service, establish that you promote a safe meeting environment, and enjoy your success!

I appreciate your response and insight, thank you!  The person to whom I was referring, I emailed with extensively but never got to meet actually due to scheduling on my part.  I do this secondary to another job and sometimes it's tough when my regular job becomes too consuming.
I understand exactly what you're saying.  I love being listed on TER- it's an excellent website.  It does provide a level of safety for hobbyists and also for us ladies - we can see strong review histories, etc. Thank you again. :)

I have so many fake reviews on so many sites its unreal I used to get extremely upset because I knew I never saw these gents especially when I sign up to advertise somewhere else and I find I already have reviews there. But after awhile you have to realize some men really enjoy writing them weather it negative or positive, good or bad, real or fake. You can try to get them removed and this site is very good at handling that. just know in the future just because you tell a client not to review you doesn't mean he's goin to listen.

....if they catch wind this, ie, banning from site to post.

TER stands for The Erotic Review....this is how they make & sell their site w/ this large data base of reviews.

You can't have it both ways.

fake reviews deserve to be removed.

I never get why ppl "have to" write a review.  7 or 15 free days here just won't get me to do it anyway.

thank you ,

for your reply...  my situation is a little different .
not really until now, maybe it is working in the florida area ;  i have a few gents to ask for reviews .
i still do not understand why it is soooo inportant.

have you any idea ,how many time i have received e mail ..asking me for monthly fees to have reviews posted?
umbelivable ? but real!
do you have any idea ,how easy it could be to open totally fake account , and just post reviews for your self.

reviews are like hotel or restaurant reviews.
do not trust or read them , i think .
just go and enjoy a meal , it may be your best experience!

also most of my gents ,would never read someone else experience never the less write them.
i respect that.
maybe i should start to think ...if a someone refuse to meett me because i do not have reviews ..maybe he is not the rigth one for me???
:))

thanks for taking the time to read...
