Gonna be in the area and didn't know if I should go with 4 star recommendation via hotwire, or if there are condo rentals still available during that peak time.  I like St. Pete Beach, but would entertain Treasure Island or ClearWater Beach. Would like to be in a quiet place on the beach.  Will be there 3-5 days.  Feel free to respond to this post or PM.  Thanks.

The Chamber of Commerce has been trying to drum up some hotel business since a lot of reservations were cancelled due to the oil spill, even though none of the oil reached the west coast shores. You can probably grab a good deal if check the local papers, or realtors. Hopefully the weather will cooperate, it's been kinda cool.
