I know very well that in our world, it takes all kinds; Everyone has thier own preferences, and are certainly entitled to entertain those preferences. That being said, I have to share my own thoughts ..... When I first entered this industry, TER was a "tasteful", "classy" place to post, It's members seem to have a higher standard than some of the other sites out there. Lately, (and I promise it is not my intention here to offend anyone, but rather to perhaps get us thinking) The daily game/photos get raunchier and raunchier every day. Sometimes I am not even sure that I want to post, because I am not sure that I want to be affiliated, and that is sad, because my opinion of TER, and it's members, has always been way on the other end of the spectrum. I have always adored, and had wonderful experiences with everyone that I have met from this forum, both hobbyist and provider. Maybe I just miss the "higher standard"? .... Would love to hear from others re: this .... and as always, Just my humble opinion.

The "raunchy" ones add a little spice to the rest of them.

I am a Florida board reader from afar at the moment and one of the reasons I log in just about every day is to see the theme posts.

Those posts put this board ahead of all the other regional boards I have checked.

My kudos to the Florida ladies. And I hope to meet many of you in person in the not too distant future.

And Torre, your pics are great as well. Just enough to really entice the "observers."

and keep them coming back. Most men want to see it all while some will want a tasteful tease. Others want pictures of their favorite body part and the rest is an added attraction. I remember when showing pussy was rare but now it's daily and over the top.

I always wanted to remain tasteful as well. I personally could care less what the other ladies do because ultimately I am responsible for me and NO ONE else. Since I have been around for almost 5 years now, I have gone back and forth on this.

So, I did alot of thinking. Does it really matter to me what other ladies do? Nope. Am I here to please the men? Yep.

Personally, I do a wide variety of photos for all types of men.  I have heard from alot of men that they like to be teased and yet I get messages and emails commenting on all of my photos.

Just remember to be who you are. If you don't wish to participate, that is your right. If you want to not show your private parts then don't.

Ultimately,  I truly would not worry about what the other ladies do. We are here for the gents and truthfully that is what matters..

Not everyone sees the world the same way as you, does that mean they lack "class" or "tact"? If women post pics that are too racy for you, so what? Post the pics you feel are appropirate and live your own life. Sounds more like a different emotion to me.

I have also noticed that the pics have gotten much more tasteless.  The less you see the more you want, if I want to see it all online, I would just go to one of the many porn sites, but I would much rather see less in a pic and be surprised when I actually meet the lady in person. The suspense is half the thrill.

to our imaginations is good; kind of like giving wrapped presents during the holidays rather just handing someone a new article of clothing or a new electronic gadget.

I think anyone who has been around a while would agree that this board, like all others, has an ebb and flow of changes. As people come and go, boundaries are tested and personalities emerge.
It's no different than society in general as we see things that were once shocking....being passe and barely raising an eyebrow now.

One thing that is universal.....is that nothing is universal. Everyone has their own different tastes and ideas of what is "sexy" or... (the most over-used word in the biz) "classy". Everyone gets turned on, and off, by something different.
Wasn't it the discussion of pornography by government that gave us the phrase "I can't define obscenity.....but I know it when I see it."?
Everyone has their own definition. Sometimes being part of society (like out little society here) means putting up with things you don't particularly care for...and expecting others to do the same.

As far as being a mod....I have to allow just about anything, regardless of personal opinion, as long as it does not break the rules and policies of the site. I also have to look at every single post (so don't ever wonder why I drink...lol).

On a personal level I look at it this way....the freedom of expression allows people to show their true personalities in how they present and market themselves. It also allows me to use this information in my spending decisions. Sometimes it's good to know that someone's idea of sexy doesn't match my own...as it saves me money and time....and allows those valuable commodities to be better spent elsewhere.
While we may see some things that don't appeal to us personally....one thing to consider is that how someone markets or presents themselves, generally attracts the type of client they are most interested in. So in a way....it might send the type of client you may not care for....to the type of provider that you may not care for.

As always, we have the choice of what posts to view and not to view (well at least the rest of you do). So if you tend not to care for the offerings of a particular poster, you can skip over those. Hey...it could be worse. You could be me and seeing some of these things at 5:30 in the morning on a 24" monitor!

Regardless of anyone's particular stand on the 'issue'....your courage to stand up and state your opinion should be applauded and not ridiculed. Only the petty and small minded refuse to allow for other ways of thinking....and the freedom to express those thoughts.

I'm tending to agree with you, Victoria.  While I'm not sure the institutional knowledge is here for anyone to claim with certainty WHY pic theme days started in the first place, I think it's safe to assume it's for:

1) Ladies to have a fun forum to express themselves;
2) Use that forum to show the gents what they have;
3) For gents to begin to make choices of whom to see;
4) Liven up the forum.

In the four years I've been a member of this "community", the flavor of the board has ebbed and flowed, often with just a few personalities setting the atmosphere with their input, sometimes a positive influence, sometimes a negative influence.

So back to the pic posts: like I said, I tend to agree with you.  I like it when these pic posts---combined with a lady's board persona and her website/reviews---begin to captivate me, whether it's appealing to my Puritanical side (Puritanical side means you've likely got a string bikini on, BTW) or the hedon in me.  But in any event, I didn't sign up for Gynecology 101; I say spare me the full-on crotch shot for when we're alone.  Besides, my co-workers think something's up when they walk by and I'm licking he screen.  What?  It's my innate reaction to being within six inches of a pussy....

Very well said TB. I agree with you in everything you said. I too have been around for more than 4 years, and the board has changed many times over the years, some things better, some not. I agree that when the pics are posted, there should be something left to the imagination, and there are some ladies that do a great job of it. However, this board has grown over the years and we all know that it is different strokes for different folks. As for me, I pretty much know who I hope to see in the future, and when new ladies start posting, I have to say that I am less likely to want to see someone whose first impression is made with a raunchy pic rather than a tasteful one.
My opinion- take it for what it's worth.

What this board needs is higher and broader participation, and I'm encouraged that recently we've enjoyed both.  I'd love to see higher participation on these pic day threads, but frankly there are some ladies who won't do it because they don't want to be involved in what amounts to Hustler's "Beaver Hunt".

You scan the web and you can find COUNTLESS photographs of hot woman who can make one's blood boil, yet still leave a fair amount to the imagination.  Am I against Muff Mondays?  Hell no, but there's a lot more to appreciate about a woman than just her cooch.

By the way, cantseeddp, I took note of your reviews and have made it a personal bucket list.  Except for Alyssa, whose company I've already enjoyed immensely (and hope to again).

Posting after a day of sipping on Crown Royal while I packed for a trip and watched football all day, probably wasn't my best idea ever. Let me try to say things alittle more eloquently this time.

First, I'm not a proponent of explicit photos over those that leave more to the imagination. However, I am a proponent of letting people live their own lives. Whether or not Provider A posts racy pics of herself on theme day in no way negatively affects my, or any other posters, life on this forum. Why is there such a need in society to label everything and criticize others over such trivial matters?

It seems like most of the responses to the OP say the same thing, "I like more discrete photos better." Good for you, but the OP didn't ask a poll question. She stated "TER used to be tasteful and classy". The use of past tense obviously implies that she feels TER is no longer tasteful or classy because some women post photos that she finds to be too explicit. Well ... I would say that society in general would say all of us, including myself, completely lack any class or taste for participating in this "hobby" in the first place. How many of us tell our parents, SO's, friends, family, or co-workers of our involvement? It just seems to me that a site that is dedicated to the furthering of illegal sexual activity is a STRANGE place to condemn the posting of nude photos as tasteless.

In the end, do what makes YOU happy and stop worrying about everyone else. Have fun with life, it's too short and full of real problems to get upset over a pic of a muff.

It's the market that dictates the participants.  When prices were higher, the clientele and the ladies were different (for the most part).  When prices went down, a different demographic became involved.  Not good or bad, just different.

It's marketing 101, give them what they want and what the new TER culture wants is graphic.  If you think TER has taken  a class hit, look around at some of the other boards.

Sometimes It depends n how beautiful the poster really is: and please dont think I'm bashing anyone. For a young , beautiful  lady who turns heads everywhere she goes there is no need to compeete with the more riskay photos. Some ladies feel intimidated as far as their buisness goes so they try to "one UP" each other I have been arround here for almost 9 years now and Yes I have seen the changes on this board. I am in the atl area so if any of you want to disregard my opinion now or later go ahead. I remember when Atl had the Number one board without question. I watched it decend and started viewing here and the Carolinas. What I'm seeing here is close to what happened in Atl. But the good news is things are turning arround in Atl and still can on the Fl board. Ladies , just be yourselves and dont worry about the other girls or the guys for that matter. Each of you are Special and have your Niche.Show what you want bacause it's what you want. Trying to out do each other is like the Loud Mouth Hobbiest at the M&G's       Love ya'll   mean it...

After looking at many different boards, all I can say is that the Florida board is the best!  It has so much activity, I have exchanged so many great PM's with people, and it has a culture that allows us to freely banter back and forth, give our opinions, and enjoy whatever piques our interests... whether it is a subtle, sexy look with so much to imagine or a crotch shot... there is always something for everyone.... and sometimes it depends on my mood... so keep it coming ladies... we men love the active participation from all of you!
