I recently moved to Miami from New York City. I am in the process of familiarizing myself with the local hobby scene here and would appreciate any insights from both local hobbyists and local providers that would guide me in the right direction. I have hobbied extensively in New York City, D.C., and Las Vegas, as well as Latin America.

How would you say that the hobby scene in Miami differs from that of New York, D.C., or other major U.S. cities? What are some things that I should be aware of in Miami that might not be obvious to me as a seasoned hobbyist from other U.S. cities?

I have also hobbied overseas extensively in Latin America and elsewhere. I have a strong preference for Latinas, but I gather that the scene here is more like that of other U.S. cities, except with a heavily Latina talent pool. Are there any other ways in which the heavily Latina talent pool shapes the hobby scene here?
