I recently contacted Makayla and started asking what the hourly rate is? She replied "how much fund do you want to have? We bantered back and forth and she finally told me $350. Then I asked about reviews. "She said none, I am new." I started to ask how she justified the cost. She hung up. I mean I have paid $350, but not when I do not know what I am walking into to. I mean police sting or is she a scam and will run away with my money.
Am i crazy or can she charge that much
She can charge whatever she wants, you just have to decide if you want to pay it. My question is, why do you keep seeing girls with little to no reviews? Use this site, fnd a girl with a plenty of good to great reviews and then you will know what you are going to get.
I like to find undiscovered gems that havent been burned out by the business. I have twice so far. I also joined a another site that has worked for me.
that her rate might be more than what you'd want to pay since, according to your post, she wanted to know "how much fund" you wanted to pay lol!
LOL and the brilliance of this board never ends.
Ladies determine their donations based on many factors. Unless they are independently wealthy and can afford few or no dates, then they will probably lower their rate or go out of business. Sounds to me like you won't be patronizing her, and until one of us TOFTT and post a review, none of us will either rush to her door and proclaim her the latest goddess, or we will pass her over when searching for a provider. eom
wow Dude. This America. I get to complain about the price of escorts, the price of gas and the price of bread. Any way sarcasm aside. I might TOFTT at $200, but not at $350
And who cares why?
Given the country's current political situation,
not many people understand what free market is.
300 is considered bottom dollar according to industry standards. Used to be an "unwritten" rule between providers. No one is supposed to go below 300 an hour because then it undercuts the entire community. The same rules used to apply to kissing and greek but when escorting went mainstream all rules and codes of conduct were pretty much abandoned by new comers.
Now I'm not trying to start an argument but what your saying sounds lke price fixing. Also, if that is the standard then why do the agencies charge less? I understand the independant ladies must do much more administrative work but they also get to keep all of the money. I can see your point but I also agree that the whole thing is a case for free enterprise. Laney, did the industry drop it's prices when the economy went south? Have the prices started coming up since then? Like I said, I don't want to start an argument. It is just something to think about.
there IS no "industry standard"...that's completely ridiculous. independents are just that - independent - and each lady is free to set her schedule and rates as she sees fit, in order to meet her individual goals and objectives. further, the agencies are competing in a free market and therefore also set rates accordingly.
personally, i'm more than a little sick of the elitist bullshit frequently heard hereabouts...that ladies whose rates are below a particular price point and/or who advertise on "certain sites" are somehow less than desirable. has anyone besides me noticed that such myths are perpetuated primarily by a group of holier-than-thou escorts and are NOT borne out by the evidence of reviews or income streams generated by those so-called "lesser" escorts?
sorry, but just because you say it (as you look down your nose) doesn't make it so.
flame away.
Bingo! God bless you girl. And your dead that it's quite often the ones talking "industry norms" and 'quality escort price points' are typically among the high drama, average quality, BS queens? Now what's the over/under on time for this post or even thread to 'disappear?'

300 has never been an "unwritten rule" and I've been playing the game longer than many on here have been born I'd guess.
It may have been so in some small subcommunities, but not in the majority of cities or providers. There have always been the majority below the 300 level, and most places 300 was a benchmark to the top 25% in most towns. Not NYC, and not some of the HDH subcultures, but really, $300 as the floor for a quality lady? No way. Tampa, FL, I still pay under 300 for most the escorts I see, and most are 7/8 and up.
The best woman in DC used to charge 300. You could get a great dinner date for under 300 with a part time escort/full time business professional in almost any city.
Kissing? Again, you don't know what you're talking about.
Greek I'll almost agree with you, that was typically an exception to the normal menu for most women.
Not trying to pick a fight, just saying you are taking what might be your experience and way over generalizing.
It is saving me a lot of money lol. I am seeing providers now at $60 to $100 for half hour. I have spent $280 this month for 4 appointments.
For 2 hour appointments I pay between $250 to $300. I get GFE experience from them (bbbj, dfk, daty), etc.
... which I can't understand? The Erotic Review is supposed to be a place a of pleasure.
I said industry standard because $300 was the set fee when I started in this business 15 years ago in San Francisco. It's not like I set the fee or that I'm trying to set the fee for anyone. I don't consider myself elite or above anyone else. In fact, I feel that we're all quite equal.
All I can say is try looking for the good in people instead of always going for the jugular and trying to beat people down.
I don't disagree with being hesitant to see a new provider with any reviews- I normally wait and see a few reviews before jumping in- that's the benefit of this site- but I don't have any problem with her asking 350 or whatever else she wants- there are plenty of choices in all different price ranges
3 sides to the story and the TRUTH.
I noticed you have written reviews... not one lovely provider has TER white list you!
For me I find it strange
Maybe he has his whitelists 'hidden' from public view? You're aware guys can do that right?

or may be he does not give out his TER handle to ladies
Reading this thread is an exercise in futility. Working girls charge whatever the market will bear. That's free enterprise. Good looking girls can charge more for their time than the not so good looking ones. It's the law of supply and demand
