Can anyone please tell me some hotel options near the Ft Lauderdale airport that do not require key-card access for the elevators?

And then when the list of hotels come up, call the front desk of the ones you're interested in... The customer service agent at the front desk can answer your question :)

Hyatt Regrncy 66 on SE 17th does not require keycards.
