New vs Classic TER

Is everyone getting used to the current/NEW IMPROVED?? version of TER?

If you liked the old "classic" version I thought I would post a link here so you can access it the old fashioned way.

Classic still rules.
Some features on the new version are good...but the interface needs work. Font is too small (been said many many times) and the classic drop-down menus are faster and more efficient than the artsy fartsy fade in stuff on the new one.

Basically...make the new one easier to read...and they might be on to something.

People will always get "used to" new things...even if they aren't better. It's that old sheep mentality.

Just sayin'

The old version was better, post seem to be down since the new version, but it could just seem that way. I hope they did not pay alot for the new site.

I agree with you, Dirty,....and still log onto the site in it's classic form.....classic.theeroticreview........I still prefer the old format, and will continue to use it this way as long as it is available.....Torre

resistance to change by human nature.  The new site definately takes some getting used to.  Some features are good, others are bad.  For "good", for some threads, I like the "flat" choice over the "tree" choice to see all the posts at once.  For "bad" example, why do I care who the top 10 providers are in all of the USA?  Most of us are not getting on a plane to go to NYC just to see Ms. X because she is #1.

The most constant thing is change.  Someetimes change is improvement, but CHANGE never assures improvement or progress or in this case more user friendly.  The proof is user friendly. Fewer posts is a measurement  of the new webite.

I personally had to get used to it and the thing I miss the most is the 'VIEW ALL" button so you can read all the posts after the topic. I find it time consuming now and I would like to read all the posts after the discussions but have slacked off on it if there is more than 4 responses. Just my personal opinion...Hugs JoJo

When you open the first one, look to the right where it says "View: Tree | Flat"
Click on "Flat" and it shows all the posts.

Maybe they could change "Flat" to "All"

Just sayin'

"Back to Forum" now goes back to last thread viewed vs the top thread--at least it has been tonite.
