What is your option of your better 1/2 having new online friends of the opposite sex?

I am an old guy and don't do much social media. I have family that are of the now generation and are always posting. I guess it comes down to trusting your SO and the websites where they meet. Porn site, probably not good! I would question why my SO needs to be poking around and looking.  
I am sure some are innocent, like a pen pal in the old days, in another country. The rules seem to be different now, since we can now instantly reach anybody on the planet. I am sure I would be told where to get off if I asked a 10 year old today! EOM

Good Point.. But what if your SO started doing this after many years of no care almost a hate for FB tweeter ect? or  After A ruff patch in the relationship?

HOW SO?  I am just asking a question for everyone to talk about?

I see how the timing of that makes you uneasy. It is complex, i am sure.
