It seems that with the economy the way it is that there are a LOT of new ladies entering into this business.  I was looking through the list of reviews in Tampa, and between the first 2 pages, I think I recognized maybe 5-6 names.

Now I'm all for new ladies coming around, but it seems like most of the new ones have only like 1-2 reviews, that are not so stellar.

I wonder if these ladies know about TER, and how they may be able to learn from other ladies how they may be able to improve their services, or participate on the boards to make themselves known.

My dissertation...

Yes, with the stalling economy, sinking job openings and increasing unemployment rates there are many new women.  This leads to many new situations including a glut, a call for decreased rates, ripoffs, opportunists and LE swooping in.

Now, there are those who will take the time to cultivate their new found calling and then there are those who won't.  Just like there are guys that continue to checkout CL and like boards.  For every niche there is a supply.  For every whim a demand.

So, then couldn't we question why, if it is known how iffy CL and like boards can be, do they still exist?  Because men frequent them.  TER is not the strolling grounds of all and is not for some the place to find a date.  

Does being on this board guarantee business for the ladies?  Does it also ensure "quality"?  Maybe to some extent but that's where time and reviews come into play.

Many have resorted to other venues to actually meet men and have fun, successful dates.  So, then does the answer lie in TER men should only frequent those who have shown a steady record of quality and substance and eschew CL and others?  This then may be an incentive for many; both men and women, to increase their sense of what "quality" truly is or is not.

I believe though that for every person there remains a comfort zone and every girl will run her business as she sees fit.  This may mean she asks for thousands a night and never steps foot on any board.  Does she then lack "quality"?
Does she need to be here to improve herself?

Quality is in the eye of the beholder and to each their own.

Haya, yes, I also have noticed this trend.  Here is another possible reason.  

After looking at many of these new reviews, I also notice that many of the girl's links are either CL or BP ads.

While some of the reviews are by new reviewers, I was somewhat surprised to see many more than I expected coming from guys with a number of prior reviews.

Perhaps it is just another example of how the economy is changing the dynamics of the industry.  These guys may be looking to stretch their dollars so more of these lower priced ladies who have always been available are now getting reviewed.  

Perhaps it is not only a reflection of great numbers of new ladies entering the industry, but also shows a shift in how some of the hobbyist are spending their money.

One other thing is there is always going to be a natural introduction of new ladies coming into the business.  If one looked at reviews in January 2008, there were reviews on some ladies no one had ever heard of before who went on to become not only very well known, but among the highest rated and most popular ladies in Florida (Paris, Heidi, and Sindie).

Next year that list may include new ladies to the industry (Morgan Chapman and Kara) in addition to ladies who have recently relocated to the area (Sophie Simone and Riley Mason).

I don't think it's just the economy....

A certain percentage of the male population will see streetwalkers, even Charles Barkley does...some will shop at CL/BP for less than stellar ladies who offer less than GFE at a discounted rate....there are those of us who stick with highly reviewed ladies of quality and some even delve into the porn star ranks...

TER is being openly promoted and guys are finding a venue to review the ladies they see. I think over time they'll become more sophisticated and appreciate the better providers, so it's all a learning curve.

The less than GFE ladies will always be there, they see dollar signs, but fear the intimacies we take for granted or have boyfriends who won't let them kiss or allow BBBJ/DATY. It's more complex than just the economy, but I'm sure that has a lot to do with it....

and some promising ladies who I am sure did not know much about TER as ASPD was the big board here, but it is down now and has been for a month.

So it may be the economy, but I think many who relied on the old board are encouraging guys to post on TER... so it's probably both factors... .02

I would have to agree with you Dbara. I am from Houston but I travel a fair amount. I had never participated in TER until ASPD crashed. I have since found that I enjoy this board much more; and I do not intend to go back if or when they fix theirs.

As for low quality providers. I think like most of you do. That where there is supply there is demand and vice versa. AS long as someone is willing to take a risk or TOFFIT (SP)if you will, they will always be there. Just my .02 cents

want to make your "presentation" to see if we will accept your work?  As chair of the dissertation review committee, I'm sure we can find a time where we can review your findings.

i saw somethig that the bunny ranch and other places where seen alot more women coming in because they have lost there jobs and they where saying how some of the women where white collar and they wanted to keep on making the money that they where making before.
now i belive that alot of guys use CL/BP because they dont know about TER, think about it
how many guys can a girl see a day? and some of the girls dont care to provide a nice experience they just want the money and get the guy off as fast and as soon as posible so she can see the next guy so the 1 hour date turns into a 20 min
trust me it happend to me before i met TER
now i only see ladies from TER that have good reviews
