How do I go about finding talent for an adult video up in the panhandle... does anyone know of any swingers mags for this areas.  Something with ads in it?

sir--i have done adult videos and have some helpful advice to pass on..

you say you are in the panhandle...i,m in tampa and never lived in the panhandle,so,this is the best i can offer you..

dont know about any swingers mags that are available there,but,try the next best thing...the internet..use search engines like yahoo or google and look under swingers jacksonville(or whereever you are)..you might find a host of stuff...ditto for yahoo groups that swingers might be a part of in that area..yahoo groups are simple free webpages that anyone can make up on a basic interest(i have a couple myself-great promotion for free)i,m sure there are at least a few swingers group webpages from that area on yahoo--also try looking on sites like adult friend finder..places wheres people go to meet other people--you might have to place an ad in to meet others-but hey--if you,re serious,you gotta put the feelers out in every way possible.

also,once you find others for filming,you,ll need the following from each person...a xeroxed copy of their drivers license(or i.d card)and a current hiv test that can be no later then 30 days old...the only exception to the hiv test rule is if the people who are in that scene have had intimate encounters before off camera and dont want/need the test(like a man or wife)but once you add people in that have never played,they need a test..you might also want to get them on camera saying "hi,this is so and so,my birthdate is______,i,m ___years old,the date today is ______i,m doing a scene from so and so productions today,and i,m doing it under my own free will"this covers your butt so no one can come back ans say they were forced..make sure all parties are of legal age.

in closing,i suggest for filming stocking up on extra batteries for the camera,extra film,and extra lights(you can never have too many of those)

I'm a professional videographer/post production editor and this is my first foray into adult video.  I have an excellent script and am now in search of people to help me produce the content.  I'm quite familiar with model/artists's releases, etc.  However, you could surely help me with constructing my shooting budget.  I have sufficient technical help at reasonable cost - makeup, grip, best boy, etc., but what is the average fee paid to actors?  per day or per hour?  Not looking for hollywood actors, I want real people (hot ones, though :-))

alot of factors..

factors like if you need money to travel to a specific location,rental of equipment,if you are going to have other people on hand to help you(boom mic,photographer,extra cameramen,makeup girl)ect...alot of amatuer companies are limited to what they can do so they stick to simple locations like someones house or a a hotel room...what to pay for a scene...usually its 200 for a girl girl,300 for a girl/guy,and its goes up for the more extreme scenes,like anal or gangbangs(gbs are well over a thousand dollars--male talent generally isnt paid very much--its the women who make the most money.)

you have to film for an hour to get at least 20 minutes of hot footage that can be edited and put on a tape..fiming an hour scene can take about an hour and a half maybe two hours--thats with breaks for makeup touchups,bathroom,food and water breaks,changing costumes,maybe turning off lights for a brief moment to cool the room off(those things can make a room sweltering hot),taking pics for the internet and boxcover,ect...

a scene might take longer then two hours of the male talent is nervous or cant do the pop shot...

i would suggest looking for couples..they already have chemistry-if you try to pair up people who dont know each other,the awkwardness and lack of heat will show on film.
