Greetings locals.  I am trying to decide on a beach vacation for the first or second week of August.  California is cooler this time of year, but also very expensive at this late date.  Miami is hot but more compact than SoCal.  I am also interested in the availability of the ladies this time of year.  Do most of the ladies in the Miami area stay around during the hot August nights or is this the time of year that everyone gets out of town?  I know the rates are good in the hotels and flights are reasonable as well.  I have been to South Beach in the spring and fall but never deep summer.  What is life like and what is hobbying like in August in Miami?
