Greetings Florida from NJ! ( Let's talk about Hobby friendly cities)

Just wanted to say hello to this side of the board. I have been thinking about visiting Jacksonville or Miami just to get a feel of the south again. Maybe while i'm out there I can enjoy myself and have fun.

My question is, If you had to pick 2 hobby friendly cities what would you choose and why ? I have never toured in FL but the thought of it is very exciting! :-)

Jacksonville

Jax is no Orlando/Tampa/Miami but it's a good place to tour.  Lot's of great providers here as well as visiting ones.

Southbeachgroup.com for deals on boutique hotels  
or
Stay at the Epic in Miami and dine at Zuma for the see and be seen crowd  
or
Stay at the Mondrian in SoBe and play it up til the wee hours...you can also play in Brickell but the sky is the limit in Miami.
