I would just like to know your thoughts.   I am very "old fashioned" when it comes to technology especially social media, and cell phone technology so I am trying it out on my laptop before adopting it for phone use.  So far it seems difficult to find many providers in the Tampa, to Naples area who are using it.  Your thoughts, please.   Thanks

I prefer not to broadcast this life or half naked photos on any site that is not designed specifically for that purpose. I signed up a few years ago for kicks and my account was hacked in less than a week. Shocker.

Makenzie, your response cannot be any more clear.    We can use Twitter up to the point where you don't want to end up like former US Congressman Anthony Weiner!    Discretion and less personal details and even less visuals you post on Twitter.

It's a great way to stay connect to people and I have gotten to meet new friends too!
I like that you can get to know a person a bit more by what they like to post too...articles, comments and pics

I have a Twitter account for business and haven't done much with it.  Since Twitter's introduction, I haven't embraced this technology - it doesn't make sense to me.  I meet men over 35.  I can't imagine they're embracing it either. For my time, I look for more productive avenues of social media or advertising.

I think it's a great tool to meet people and connect with the other ladies in the biz.
I just need to figure out how to use it .

Thanks for the stats Lea, but really your statement, "I meet men over 35" made this 64 year old feel rather young.   I like that.
