I have never understood why an agency can start a thread and then post unlimited posts under it to promote each lady. Just seems wrong.

I just looked again and almost all the posts after yours are ads too. Not sure of the solution.

I completely agree...It's not fair...I would be willing to pay for it!!..There should be a section of just ads..That we can post on everyday to keep them updated...It is completely unfair that you may only post 1 ad per week...By the 3rd day i am already 5 pages back and who goes back that far to look?....If not an ad section maybe a status section where we can update and post our availability if we like.....I am completely behind you on this and will do anything i can to help!! Please help us Moderator!!!!

There really couldn't be just one place for all nationwide ads. So then there would have to be a separate ad board right along each regional board.
Too much effort...for what return?

As of now there are 16 posts above your ad.
Out of those 16 posts....10 of those are ads.
So, for all intents and purposes...regional boards have turned into mostly ad boards.

As far as agencies posting, they don't cause any disruption to anyone else posting. There are 25 topic slots on a board. If one topic has 100 responses, there are still 24 more topics.
It's the number of topics that matter....not the number of responses....so an agency posting for each girl under the same topic is not unfair to anyone.

This actually makes the job of moderators more involved than one might think. Because there are only those 25 spots on the front page, the mod has to minimize and manage the posts that are inane, pointless, ISO, attempted mini reviews, shills, trouble making, or any other type of "wasted space". If you think what you see on the boards may be bad....you can't imagine what's in the trash bin....and could have taken up front page space.

The last, and possibly most important point, is that FL ladies need to understand that they have it much MUCH better on this board than on ANY other board on this entire site.
With an ad a week, daily theme days(5), and usually a weekend theme day.......that is SEVEN ADS A WEEK!
NO other board provides (no pun intended) this kind of opportunity.
Opportunity is, as always, what you make of it.
Ladies can choose to have fresh pics, participate in theme days, and put up an ad per week.
They can also choose not to.
Who do you think will have a higher rate of success?

As with any other business....you get back what you put into it...and a board just for ads is far from the right way to go. Only my opinion, of course.

let's try to get everyone  thumbing through more than one page...This is a board for a large state so it only takes a few ladies ads to fill a page.

As far as the Agency ads, I feel they have their place here just like independant ladies do. Just think if each of those ladies put  an ad on by themselves. That would fill close to a page and you would be moving to the back of the pack all that much quicker.

So how many gentlemen do go back a few pages each day to see if there is anything they might have missed?

with everydy with a different tata monday..and tuesday butt day..yes your ads will be on page 5 ..before the the end of the day!!!and we only are allow to post once a week!!!!

I think most guys on here have a daily check of what is new.  If not daily I bet they at least scroll down far enogh to see what they missed since the last time they logged on.  If we want to see multiple adds of the same person we can go to other sites that are just adds.  There more reasons for this board than just adds.

TER was conceived to be a "Discussion Forum" where providers are allowed to post weekly ads.

It is a bit frustrating when one's ad slips over to the next page, but there's always a bright side.

When I have put in alot of effort into my ad, I post a link on my website, so that those who want more info can access it easily there.

I have found that the participation on the boards garners more business than posting weekly. Especially if one is "based" somewhere consistently, the guys know it, and if one is on their "to do" list, you'll definitely get a call/pm/email/etc.

On the other hand, one way to "slow down" the topic posting would be to take away the weekly ad and make it every ten days/two weeks for local ladies.

As gj pointed out, out of 16 posts, 10 are ads...

I just don't think it's really something to cry about.

Get involved on the board and reap the rewards ... be thankful for what advertising you are allowed in a "Discussion Forum"
