I guess because it is a new area for her and nothing wrong with having a mentor. You can always learn new things no matter how long you have been in the business.

Why is that?

Her three pages of reviews were all collected within the last six months...if that's as long as she's been in the biz she probably could learn a thing or two...cannot fault a person for wanting to learn how to do it right.

I will agree to some point that you can't please everyone, but to say there aren't those of us that get along with all women and enjoying helping out is comical in itself. Not trying to put your panties tighter in a wad, but please know your facts before you judge all the women here and put down the big spoon you keep stiring sh*t with.

I am well established in MN so no need for red flags sweetheart lol.

I am moving there very soon (was raised down south and miss the warm weather and people) and that means I need to establish myself in FL (almost like starting over) and the best way to learn the ropes of a new place and different group of people is to get help from another. Thus I'm lookin for a mentor. Does that make sense?

As far as the providers here, so far I have only had warm welcomes and tons of advice from the women and men over the last few months (preparing for my move).  Yes it's a competitive biz but aren't all business and the best way to stay safe is to be smart and help one another. In fact, the only negativity I have gotten so far is from you, a hobbyist.

So if you chose not to see me because I have 21 reviews over the last 6+ months and I'm asking for help in a new city then so be it but no need to throw out there "red flags" as if the "British are coming". I'm just a southern girl at heart and miss the south. Can't blame me for wanting to come back.

He is just a jerk trying to get a rise out of the board...if we all ignore him he'll move on to another board...so as long as he posts stupid...no reason to engage him.

the landscape, where to go (or not go), who to avoid (i.e. asshats), etc. Smart lady if you ask me.

How many times have you seen guys with many reviews posting ISO? Surely they know how to find ladies to visit with yet they ask for advice.

...your first posts ever and you choose to come out as a hater?! You're not even a Hobbyist since you have no reviews so why are you giving her a hard time? Just go away!

Welcome to S Fla.  It's always a pleasure to have a new lady come down here, especially with such stellar reviews to flaunt.  I hope you have gotten some helpful information and despite the nonsense and outburst from the local Grover the Grouch impersonator,  have a good time.

If you are traveling to a place you are not familiar with, then by all means see if someone there can help you out.  Makes it easy to learn what areas to avoid either due to being unsafe or unfriendly to hobbying.  Also can help out learning which hotels are not appropriate for you.  Nice also if you get along with each other, to get some R&R.  There are probably more helpful ladies than not, most likely just avoid getting caught up with the petty fights on the boards.  I can even mention some who post on the boards all the time and are always ready to be friendly and helpful.    As for a red flag, obviously didn't pay attention to the trend in the 3 pages of reviews.
