Lately I have been bombarded with e-mails from them asking me to join .... Each invitation is linked with names I recognize but some are from many years ago. Last week 20 something and this week already 9.

Should I try to contact these gentlemen and let them know this is happening. I can't imagine they want an escort noted as a friend not that I'm actually listed to begin with.

Any info to help would be greatly appreciated ....

Gentlemen : Would you want to know if this was being sent in your behalf ? If you were contacted by a lady with an unsolicited e-mail would you get upset with her.  I have a list of many many I have seen over years

Ladies is this happening to you as well ?

Kisses Haley

of my life. Some of us need to stay UTR.

Yes, I would want to know.

Although social media in general is something which I avoid when it comes to this area of my life. Privacy is paramount in this profession! :)

I do have a few escorts in my contacts on LinkedIn, along with actors/actresses, models, CEO's company Presidents and assorted business owners as I'm a professional photog. To allow an escort into you're network really depends on what you do for a living.

i get a few of these each week as well, and i'm willing to bet most of the gentlemen have no idea!  many i saw only once (they were visiting from out of town), and so not likely that they'd add me to their social network.

it seems to me i've heard that linked in automatically emails EVERYONE on your contact list when you create a profile.  i suppose they should warn folks to clean up their contact lists first..

That's how the site spams you... you are on his mailing list or somewhere in his email and the site grabs his contact list. I do not do any type of social media for this business, and never will. It's far too easy for such sites (moreso Twitter and facebook) to hack your account, and start sending messages to guys you have chatted with, and even posting on your account as you! I tried Twitter for two , and went back after a few months to find some "work from home mom" posting as me all over my account. Luckily, I never used the message system, because it is not discreet at all. Unlike TER that is covered under the fictional tag, anything you say on Twitter including in private, can and will be used against you in a court of law.
