I occasionally type my personal information such as SSN, phone number, etcetera, into Google just to see what happens.

Recently the idea occurred me to try my Preferred 411 ID and wouldn't you know, it came up with a link to  a website called nationalblacklist.com.

I wasn't completely surprised as I had been warned by the provider who blacklisted me, though it was many months ago. You have to pay money to see all the information on that website but I saw enough to get the gist of it.

I think that website is geared exclusively towards providers so I didn't figure there was any point in even seeking to record my point of view on the situation.

So I'm posting it here.

It would be more effective if I had the provider's name but frankly I don't remember it.

She posted on the Tampa board in Cityvibe, I think it was. She said she was visiting Tampa. The ad was very appealing and accompanied with an attractive photo. Being a newbie I'm always on the lookout for provides who will accept me without references and Cityvibe and BP seem like good places to look as long as your are careful (I know, "well-reviewed", and all that).

This provider didn't have any reviews on TER but I found a couple on an obscure website and so it looked promising. I sent her an email and asked if she was in Tampa now. Turns out she was in Boca Raton about 300 miles away but thinking about coming to Tampa. I gave her my P411 number and told her to check me out. She did and came back and asked when I would want to meet and how long. I told her the next day and for a couple of hours.

So she jumped in her car and headed for Tampa. At this point I felt I was just checking things out and surely she must have had other clients lined up in Tampa to take this plunge but I think this turned out not to be the case. We last emailed at about midnight. I think she was receiving them as text messages on her cell phone. She said she was going to find a hotel near the airport. She turned her cell phone off shortly after telling me this.

In the meantime I did some googling on her phone number and/or email address, I don't remember which and much to my surprise her ad with the exact same wording showed up on a Texas Cityvibe webpage but it was under the heading of TV/TS. Say what? Based on other photos and the reviews I found I could hardly believe this, but what was I supposed to do at this point? She is coming to Tampa, I don't know when or where, and I'm supposed to see her at some time in the afternoon not knowing if she is a SHE or a HE really. Furthermore, my own email where we have been corresponding is not available at work so she has not way to contact me.

So I have red flags all over and don't know how to ask a provider if she is a SHE or a HE and so I just decide to forget the whole thing.

I come home and read my email and there is an angry rant stating that she is going to blacklist me.

I don't know if she ever got my email reply before she proceeded to do what she did but I told her to go ahead and do it if that was what she wanted as worse things have happened to me (and they really have).

Don't know why I'm posting my side of the story here but I guess it's because there is no other place. Maybe she will read it. I would give her name if I remembered it, but unfortunately, I don't.
