Florida has great individual talent with the spread offense ...with Tebow.But,Alabama plays like a unit very few mistakes, nothing fancy..and one heck of a defense.
I do remember the 1992 season...yeah..I'm old enough..lol
As for me going to the game I wish...the tickets are outrageous. Home in front of the TV is OK. Besides I look so cute in Crimson and White!!!

Gators are cold blooded and move real slow when it's chilly...OK.. I do know the Georgia Dome is indoors. Also remember Bama's opener game against Clemson...the beginning of the end of Tommy Bowden's football coaching career was at the Georgia Dome.
Let's me see close game Bama wins all the way to BCS championship here in Miami!!!

Oh you leave me no choice...OK true Nick Saban did say he was not talking with Alabama. But the Dolphin's season was not over. He waited..then yes..he left. In his contract with Huzanga it was put in he could return to college football. Remember, that was insane year of keeping up with Ricky Williams. As for Mike Shula remember he left the Dolphins as a quarterback coach to head up Alabama.When he was fired late season he went back to being a quaterback coach this time the Jax Jags. But, I do think he is cute...lol
Remember Florida's Steve Spuirer...Washington Redskins now nothing SC.
BTW did you know Saban took a paycut to go to Alabama..believe it not Les Miles gets paid $1.00 more than Saban...Blah Blah ..etc... now you got me started..I just know Fuzzy going to tell me I'm on the wrong review site....

OK... last thing on Football.  I have UA, UF and every university in the Southeast as my customers (scientific research) and I travel to all of them often.  I have asked this question of Alabama faculty, alum and students and no one seems to know the answer!!  How and why did Alabama (Tuscalossa of course... not UAB) choose the "Elephant" for their mascot??  What is the connection to the Chrimson Tide?  Obviously the Crimson Tide can't be a mascot, but an elephant???

BTW... Tebo and the Snappy Gators will romp over the Tide, and then beat the unfortunate team that plays them in the National Championship game!!  The SEC rules!  Just ask OSU!

In the old days the Alamaba team was referred to as the White or the Crimson for the color of their jerseys.....after an Alabama win over Auburn a sportswriter wrote that they poured over Auburn like a Crimson Tide and thus the tide nickname was born......The Elephants were the huge lineman that Alabama always had and fans would say the elephants are coming so the mascot started at the Sugar Bowl in the 1970's....so much for football and history....lets get back to the ladies.....(until the National Championship game).....Florida (Meyer) VS Oaklo-homo (Stoops)

Amazing that no one that I've ever asked at Alabama knew the answer to that question.  I was aware of the Crimson Tide origin, however.  Thanks for the answer.  Who would have figured I'd get an answer to this on TER! Wonderful!

figures it takes a florida gator grad to answer the questions corectly...know how you can tell a bama grad, when they pick thier nose you can see their crimson class ring....(all tide grads are nose pickers, that's why they will eat buggers sat when the gators thrash them!!!)
