On Sunday I was bored and horny so I scoured Adultsearch for some fun. West Palm Area. Texted with a few but did not end up booking. Yesterday, I got several text messages from different numbers claiming to be from "The Cartel". They all identified themselves, said I wasted their time and demanded money otherwise they would do something to me.
I was using my google number so I'm not worried and I am positive there is nothing behind the threats. If it was serious it would have gone down differently instead of a copy and paste text message as all of them were similar enough. But it does take me wonder if anyone else has gotten these kind of messages. Has anyone else seen this and what did you do? I wonder what the experience would have been had I shown up. Would it have been OK or would I have been robbed? What would the girl have been been like? Dont think it would have been a fun session, which may mean she didnt have a choice to be there. Thats not a happy thought.... Also, its tough to tell which girl I texted is the one associated with this. I think its ones with a non-local area code or a Miami area code. Think the rule from now on, besides using the google phone number, is to contact girls in my area code. Doesnt can they could not get a burner or even their own google number with a 561 or 954 number but I think its probably just safer. And unfortunately I deleted the text messages otherwise I would post one. So, be careful. Reply if you have had this happen too. TER is a good tool to use as is P411 among a couple of other sites. I read reviews all the time about how bad a Provider was after she already had 10 bad reviews! If he only read the previous ones before contacting her. Some gentlemen just don't do their research or they would know to see someone else!
Agreed, doing a little research is always a good idea. And Adult Search is not the best place to find a provider. It's a little sketchy. I miss the IndyBoard days of South Florida hobbying. It could be a bit dramatic but it felt like a community and I felt pretty comfortable contacting providers that advertised there. TER is good for reviews but doesnt have that community feel to it.
I guess I wanted to post this to find out if anyone else has experienced this harassment, and also to give a general warning to the other hobbyists in the area that this may happen. I did not see any of the girls I suspect triggered the harassment, just texted them. Just something seemed off about them. And like I suspected, just a few threatening text messages. But it could have been something more serious. Just be careful all!
