Not sure what some idiot filming himself doing BBFS has to do with anything. Unless you plan on visiting such providers (which you shouldn't) that won't affect the market for reputable providers. About police coordinating with hotels, that's nothing new and happens all the time. One way to avoid that is to visit providers who see clients at an apt or other non-hotel location. Also, with larger (and nicer) hotels it's easier to blend in and avoid suspicion. As long as the provider isn't drawing attention to herself, you should be able to breeze through the lobby and up the elevator. Of course, this doesn't work as well if you're visiting at 2 am. Can't speak to the number of ads as you didn't specify an ad website. If you're talking about the Independent Girls site, it's my understanding that the owner was arrested on charges that shouldn't affect the general market. Using TER, and other resources, to do good homework will mitigate most of the risk. As with most things in life, nothing is 100% risk free. But you can certainly tilt the odds in your favor.
