Kleenex?

Always have a backup plan which doesn't involve self-stimulation. If you're going for the real thing, why settle for less?

My non-hard and fast rule is 15 minutes, give or take, depending on who it is, where they are, etc.

About 11 a.m. I called Dayana Casals and we set up a 3 pm date. She said call one hour before to confirm, which I did. Everything seemed OK. Arrived at incall location just about 10 minutes early. Not many cars at the hotel. I called at 5 til and got her voicemail. Told her I was here and waited for a call back. At a little after 3 I called again. Ditto at 5 after. At 15 after I was on my way out of the parking lot. A little after that I get the call as I was getting back on the interstate, "I'm here.". Too late, I had already called my plan B and booked. Maybe I was a little hasty, but I might never have gotten a call back. At 4:10 she called and said, "I am here.". Nice. I told her I was there at 3pm. In her broken english she didn't apologize but hoped I'd see her some other time. OK, maybe.

Plan B girl was perfect, as usual, but I thought I'd give a visiting girl a try. 15 minutes is a little off-putting, and if she had said she was running late when I called at 2, I would've hung around.

How long do you wait?

and gives you a heads up that she's running late, it's one thing, but in your case, I think you made the right choice. Fifteen minutes with no call is more than ample time to wait.

I give it more than 15 minutes.  I've waited as much as an hour but now would only go a half hour.  But if I had spoken with her just one hour prior to the appointment, I would at least wait 30 minutes.

Ladies, don't take this the wrong way, but you have to remember this is women we are dealing with!!!! lol  I was married once (and once too often, I might add) and hell a 15-minute wait was well below the norm!!!

Of course, if you don't have much time beyond the hour or two that you scheduled, then that comes into play as well.

20 minutes tops, and the girl had better be smokin' hot to even consider that.

If you are surfing Craigslist or Backpage. about 30 minutes. I call 3 times within that period then I leave.
If she is hot and very intriguing then a touch longer.
Time goes fast if you are in anticipation. I also don't stay in one place for too long. I move from one parking lot to another.

If you have an established provider you are seeing then 20 minutes is what I would say.

Any other is flakey and needs more time to get together with.

If you have internet on your phone then there is alway a plan B.

She definitely should've called.  If she had called, you would've seen her, barring too long of a delay.  It's all about courtesy and respecting each other's time.  Sunny

I'm nearly always late because I'm fiddling with my hair, makeup or outfit but I do try to remain in constant contact via text message (or email or IM if they're on their PDA).  I have my bathing, outfit changes, makeup touch-ups, special incall touches etc. timed like a Nascar driver on a pit stop and can always gauge exactly how late I'll be down to the minute (external forces notwithstanding) so personally I'm very adept at keeping a guest accurately informed.

If I'm grossly late then I will usually deduct $50 as a gesture, which most aren't willing to accept so I'm just certain the adjust the appointment time for the inconvenience.

15+ minutes is getting a little hairy for anyone no matter who is on the receiving end.

I never had experienced of provider made me wait more than 5mins...But, I dont think I can wait more than 15mins at the parking lot.....

I just can't...lol

the provider let me know there was a traffic situation and two, the gal just wrote down the wrong time by an hour.  Yes, she answered her phone and said "What's the rush honey, I'm just leaving my place and I have 35 minutes to get to you."  I replied, "OK great".  We had a good laugh about her error later that evening.  (Don't ask who the lady is, it is our secret).

I have an axiom: If the date's running late, or you're running late, it'll be a bad date. Reschedule and Jack off in a Kleenex. You'll be happier in the end.

Late does not always mean a bad date!  One date I had the lady was only running about 5 min late.  She felt so bad about it, she felt it necessary to make it up to me...Wow did she ever!  I love "make up" sex!  LMAO

As far as time, at 10min I start getting antsy, at 15 I'm gone, unless I get a call letting me know what's going on.  I've been late a couple times due to traffic.  A simple phone call and all is well.  If either party cannot extend this easy method of showing a little consideration, it's probably better that the date doesn't happen.

I'm pretty much always on time, very few occasions and all had to do with me going somewhere out of the area, the Virgo in me!

I do have "dates" that do arrive earlier and if they are my ONLY date for the evening and I have already seen them I'll let them in. They just have to sit and wait while I get all dolled up for them, it's my time and it's always nice to chat with my friends. I enjoy the conversation as much as the "date".

Otherwise, they have to wait til the appropriate time to call. If they are late I will call after 15 minutes, I don't wait much past 20 minutes if they are my only "date". Sometimes I stay and do a little cleaning, chat with the neighbor and I do expect to be compensated for that time the next time I see them.

If they come late and I have someone else after them which is rarely, but on occasion sometimes I do. I will let them know when I start my "date" with them what my schedule looks like. I do realize there are traffic issues, family emergencies, however everyone needs to think of this as a doctor appt. Doctors visits require 24 hour notice cancellation or you are charged right?

It looks like you did the right thing anyways by leaving. I'd be super embarrassed if I didn't let someone know what was going on, after all we all have cell phones use them!
