I've always returned emails

I have noticed an alarming trend here and it's also been confirmed by several other gentlemen I know from the board. Some of the ladies here, and I am not picking anyone out in particular, but rather MANY ladies here, have a very annoying habit of not returning emails or returning emails several days or even weeks later. It's very frustrating from a Hobbyist standpoint, emailing you to set up an appointment later in the week or perhaps next week, and not receiving a response. If you are busy, let us know. If you are not going to be able to respond to emails for a few days, set up a auto responder on your email account saying you are not available for some period of time.  If you don't want to see someone who emails you, at least have the courtesy to let them know that.

I don't think most of us expect a response withing a couple of hours but, if email is the way you prefer to set up your appointments, you should be able to respond to us within 48 hours. Anyone disagree?

And to the ladies who do respond quickly, kudos to you!!!

Responding to emails is definitely not my fav part of this whole gig.......my fav part......ummm....ohhhh ahhhh......OOOOO!!! Actually, emailing is one of my least fav's but since that's how I communicate it is necessary. I always try to respond with a hello, I will get back to you because at times it is a bit overwhelming. We do have lives, families, and maybe even some (like myself) go to school. I take this very seriously and try to be as professional as possible with the email in terms of response but, sometimes I forget and graciously say I am sorry. I think 48 hours is about the cut off point as to which one should respond to an email.
Auto responder is a great tool to use and maybe some of these ladies you are talking about are just a little unorganized. They will hopefully get the hint and work a little bit more diligently on their email response. Good luck and my advice heck if they don't respond......ON TO THE NEXT ONE! :) heheheeh

I agree that Emails SUCK.
THAT is why I write IN MY Ads that I am EASY to be reached by phone.
Funny thing, PM's don't bother me at all, I even enjoy PMing HERE.

However... sadly, there are MANY men who are NOT EVEN AWARE
of the discussion & or Ad forums here.
They ONLY know of the REVIEWS & they see an Email address & they "reach out".

NOW.. when they DO "reach out" to me...
I TELL them about the discussion & Ad forums & WHEN THEY CALL ME (& most of them do),
I GUIDE them through the board UNTIL THEY GET HERE (& to The Ad Forum).

I apologize to ANY & EVERYONE I am late replying by Email to BUT...
IF you are reading this ( & have any interest in seeing me),
you should KNOW that I prefer to use the phone rather than Emailing
(I make NO mention Email IN my Ads).

SOME men claim to not want or be able to use THEIR PHONE & to THEM I say:
buy a prepay phone. You can get one WITH minutes at Walmart for less than 20 dollars.

I just googled prepay phones at Walmart & they are a little more than 30 dollars.
STILL I think it's a good purchase for a hobbyist.

Within a couple of hours, if not right away. I  won't reply between the hours of 8pm and 8am.
That's just me.
happy emailing.

I personally have an auto response on my email asking to please give me 24 hrs. to respond.  My emails do go to my phone which makes answering much quicker, especially if I am with family.  However, especially lately, my personal life has taken a twist ( a great twist btw) and some times I may not be able to answer right away.

I, like some ladies do state only emails or calls during a certain time.  Mine is 9am to 10 pm.

You will note in my reviews it does state that I have proper etiquette in responding.

I will admit on the flip side, many times guys are not great at answering our emails when you they contact us.  Communication and respect goes both ways...

I just check mine every other day & answer them when I see them.

getting ready to go to sleep & I was bothered by my 1st post.

I sounded so obnoxious, I don't mind getting Emails ONCE I OPEN THEM.

The problem for me is getting to them.
For some reason I think of it like a chore I just don't want to do BUT...
to be fair, once I do, I AM always glad I did.

I used to NEVER check it.
I'm at every other day now & who knows maybe soon I will check it everyday.
OBVIOUSLY, I am tired.

I have to admit, I'm not the best at checking my email.  That is why I really prefer phone calls.  NOT text messages, but actual talking on the phone!  Oy!  With prepaid phone cards, I stopped looking at the text messages after PAYING to see someone say, "Hi" or "How are you"!  I have 63 UNREAD text messages!  lol

However, I used to use email and was always quick to get back to anyone who was respectful.

Just my 2 cents!

Hugs,  Tarah   xoxo

having our security compromised) to send an email to a provider about a future date rather than find a time/place where we can get out the hobby phone and give you a call, leave a VM, and hope you can call back within a small time window before we have to put the phone away.  Stealth is critical for those of us with SO or wifey.

Something I have noticed is that some ladies have more than 1email address listed. There might be an address from their profile on TER, another one in their ad, and another one on the website. Then, add in the possibility of PM from here, and there are emails all over the place- and how do we know if we sent the email to the right address? When this happens, I usually give the lady a48 hours to respond, and if I don't get an answer, I will send the email to another address, and mention that I tried emailing to a previous address as well. I do get an answer an overwhelming majority of the time. For the ladies that only have one email address and don't answer emails, send a second one- maybe she accidentally deleted the first one, or who knows? If no answer then, my suggestion would be to move on.

I get "missed calls" & IF/WHEN they have a "hobby phone",
they leave a #, & when I call it back,
I leave a message with the BEST times to reach me.

Y'know the funny thing...
people tend to "click" with people who have similar tastes
& preferences as they do themselves.

There are providers with applications on their websites.
OBVIOUSLY (IMO) the kind of men who fill them out are
NOT usually the kind of men who simply pick up a phone & CALL a provider &...
THOSE providers (most likely) PREFER an Email to a phone call.

We are ALL unique & like & prefer DIFFERENT things.

If they know who you are, and your initial e-mail is respectful, they will respond soon enough.  Remember that the ladies are bombarded with e-mails, and at least half them are BS.  They may also have other things going on in their lives, so best to just be patient.

As for you hobbyists in Florida, you guys are blessed with many great ladies.  I am too...many Florida ladies visit us frequently in NYC and environs, and they are always welcomed.  One in particular has the greatest standing of all...
